Things are moving fast Mike. Planters, mowers forage harvesters all going up and down the roads. Hope your getting things done. Stay safe see ya in the next one. Love the 4250
Greetings Mike! Great video like always, when you mentioned 42 inch rubber on the back of that tractor i was jealous imediately. Our 4250 has 38's on the back, those tall tires walk over obstructions better and just all around pull better. I've got aprox. 70% of my corn planted but no beans and a whole lot of spraying to do. Stay safe and good luck this summer!
Thank you Jeff. Funny you made this comment. I crashed my drone last night. I was was doing pretty good until the last couple laps of the field last night
I don't think I have ever seen a roller harrow before. Looks like it does a great job with the soil. What is the primary purpose behind a roller harrow? When you would want to use it?
The roller harrow is designed to finish and firm the seedbed prior to planting. The front roller breaks down the clods and lumps. The cultivator teeth in the middle bring moist soil into the growth zone. The rear roller levels and firms the seedbed
The 3010 wouldn't be able to handle it. Maybe using just the rollers but not with the tines down. I used it on the 2940 before and I had to pull the tines back. Even if the 3010 could handle the roller harrow our 3010 only has 1 hydraulic outlet and the roller harrow requires 2
What I was wondering is what is the purpose of the front roller, given that the tines are going to rough it up before the rear roller flattens it out? Maybe it will flatten out really rough ground so the tines can work it evenly?

Same looking setup we had when we did fitting with our 4250
I'm glad we went with the 4250. Definitely a great tractor
Love the video Mike
Thank you Paul. I'm glad you enjoyed it
Good morning Mike
Good morning Ruth

Thank you Gene. You stay safe as well
Really nice when everyone gets started and then teamwork takes over... Kicking up that dust.
Thanks Anthony. Its always good when you can see progress
The weather here hasn’t been cooperating I still have 90 acres of beans to plant. Hope you guys have a great 22 season.
Hopefully the weather starts cooperating for you and you get your beans in. We about to start planting beans

Thanks Richard. It has been great having the 4250 with the 42s on it
The 4250 looks like a great tractor. Be nice to get one someday. I could see myself running it.
Its a really nice tractor
Look like it doing a super good job do you have and thing.planted yet bless you all.
Thanks James. We have some Oats and alfalfa planted and we have most of our corn planted
You’re pretty talented flying a drone and driving the tractor.

@@mikep7810 Better than crashing the tractor or the implement you was pulling.
@@onehappyfarmer3461 That's for sure!
Looking good Mike. There is a fwd 4555 for sale near me that would fit right in on your place. Man it's clean and already has the chrome pipe on it!
Nice! Sounds like a sweet tractor. We love our 4555
We called it a cultipacker in Wisconsin.
I concur. Ours is a Brillion up here in north central Wisconsin.
When we upgrade to a Brillion I'll call it a Pulvi-Multcher like it's called on the website
@@mikep7810 😆😆😆
@@mikep7810 can't say much about the newer Brillion since they shut the plant down and moved everything to Michigan!!
Great video as always was wondering what river runs by your property thanks again roger from ky
Thank you Roger. That is the Otselic river

i think we could all use a little rain been a dry spring we are already in the mid 90s here in South Carolina and its only May
Hopefully you are able to get some rain. We've been getting rain here so its taking care of the dust
Good! I want a lot of harvest.
So do I
What will you be planting in that field?
The field in this video will be corn for corn silage
What are you gonna do for a 20 thousand sub goal mark micheal ?
Haha it will take a long time before I hit 20k. I'm open to suggestions. What should I do?
3010 would handle it, but why sit out in all that dust

@@mikep7810 Thanks for the great explanation. I like learning about this stuff, even though I'll never need the knowledge. 🤓
