People were way to critical about it being cheesy with no enough serious topics in it, but tbh not everything needs to be Moonlight or Your Name Engraved Herein. And I think the message of right to privacy and choosing when/if you come out is important! Loved Taylor and Nick so muc.
Sometimes I see people saying how this film being "nothing special", but honestly just let us have nice things! Straighties get that all the time. For the longest time, all we had were stories with tragedy where one of them died, or focused on gay bashing, illness, assault, and the like. Let people have nice and silly things that make them smile!

I really agree it is better to watch the movie then read the book. I have read some critics saying that the movie lack the depth that made the book so popular. But for me, that should be expected in film adaptations. There are things that great in paper but cannot be translated movies that good. I appreciate that they went on to the typical romcom direction for the movie cause we still these for the community, cheesy, little bit cringy but all-in-all such a feel good movie.
I'm glad that I watched the movie first and read the book later. Of course we're able to understand in more depth the characters thoughts and feelings in the book, that's inevitable. But I find the film adaptation incredibly accurate! ❤️

It is very famous in Thailand now but there very few interfans know about it.The plots are very interesting. Hope you like it ❤
