I have one set of Vanquish wheels.. and four sets of wheels i bought of Amazon. Honestly like you said i cannot tell the difference. The Amazons wheels fit all my ProLine, JConcepts and RC4WD tires perfectly fine. Plus at the prices Amazon is selling them for.. I'm not afraid to scratch or destroy them. Currently I just mount the Vanquish for my bling/ shelf queen rig.
I personally don't have an issue buying knock offs if they are identical in quality. If its my real vehicle then yes I'll buy genuine. But these are toys.... which in themselves are already very expensive. So identical rc aftermarket parts at half cost? That'll get my money. One thing I don't understand is why Vanquish doesn't go after these companies legally if it really is an infringement. Same question goes for HPI and losi against Rovan/Kingmotors. It makes me wonder what kind of behind-the-scenes things really go on in these companies that we don't know about.
I bought the $45 ones off of Amazon yesterday and that's what led me to this video LOL I'm happy I did because they look great I'm assembling them right now for my axial rr10 bomber
Having a set of Vanquish wheels is strictly for bragging rights in my opinion. The two sets I have are only because they came on the used trucks I bought. The other 19 crawlers I have are rolling on Amazon wheels. Don’t get me wrong I love Vanquish trucks, I have four of them. They make a really great product, but when it comes to the cost of the wheels I will go with the Amazon wheels and put that extra money into electronics.
I was blown away at the price of beadlock wheels at my local hobby shop so I just purchased some of those Chinese knockoff beed lock wheels for $40, I think they're perfect just like you said.
There will always be those who insist ridiculous cost equals superior quality. If a cheaper product performs exactly as intended, pay for the name if you prefer. I shop wisely.
An interesting comparison! Is the distance on the hub mounts the same? I have a hub from Chinese Injora discs and I plan to buy original Vanquish Products Method 105 discs. Will I be able to use the existing Chinese hubs on Vanquish disks?
I bought the Injora's on Amazon, probably all made at the same place in China. The quality was beyond expected, I can't believe the quality for the price, it's a no brainer to get these knock offs, they are worth double the price.
I ordered some of them red wheels about 8 hrs before i saw your video and I purchased them for hyrax 1.9 predators so glad to see your using the same as me, at least I know they will be ok and fit, they were £30 for the 4 wheels, i did buy pressed beadlocks for my hyrax tyres but the pressed beadlocks were virtually useless cos the part that grips the tyre is sloped and not a right angle so the more you tightened the beadlock the more the tyre slipped out hence why I ordered the red ones
Bought a set of 6 2.2 for my TRX6 for $55 on eBay They are a little more narrow than stock wheels so they make the tire a little taller. If I had to do it all over again I'd get 1.9 wheels instead because it's hard to find 2.2 tires that are 1.9 height
They come out of the same factory. The VP might get a better quality check. Maybe a better aluminum. Just like your grocery store brands. Out of the same factory but no money invested in advertising.
I have a set of Vanquish Methhod wheels on my scx10.3 and they wobble like nobodies business! Lol! I even bought new hubs to see if that was the issue and nope they still wobble, not happy! I will try the Injora next
I exklusivly buy china beadlocks. The look the same and mesured them to be the exact same even down to 0.03mm and that realy makes you think that they come from the same factory
I bet the same manufacturer produces these wheels. I bet Vanquish requested 5 holes on rear, Injora probably has 4 so they manufacture can say there different.
Vanquish is a made in USA product hence the price quality might be similar but one thing you might notice with the cheaper wheels is cheaper hardware, not a big deal if you have good drivers and don't over tighten. Depends on the build I'll either or. But I do like supporting USA products when I have the extra money
I do not understand the exaggerated pries of 150$! Why so expensive? For comparison, if I buy a car for 40000$, I do not put rims for 15000$ on it. 15000$ rims come on a 300000$ car. So I don't buy 150$ rims for a 400-500$ crawler. Where is the healthy ratio? It is and remains a hobby. If someone thinks he has to put 2000$ in a crawler.... it's his own fault! I have fun driving and do not want to worry about expensive rims! Thanks for the video. I only have rims from China. Unfortunately, only here fits price / performance.
Just wait till you get dirty and gunk on the wheels I do a lot of mount and dismounting defrent tires and foams the chanquish screw holes go away iv had vanquish for 10 years with no problems chanquish maybe a year so you get what you pay for quality quality quality
I buy my beadlocks from Amazon, basically, No Name wheels. They are great wheels, I have never had a problem or any breakage with the No Name wheels. I will never buy Treal, Vanquish or others with their price point, not worth it. I am expecting another set of 4 aluminum beadlocks from Amazon today...
As much as I hate sending a penny to those commie Chinese for 'knock-off' RC products my fixed retirement income leaves me little choice if I want to upgrade, personalize, or simply replace worn-out tires on my RCs. One thing about the chinese stuff is you commonly must wait a month or more for delivery whereas Name-brand products are there in days.
The majority of these "name brand" parts are made in the same factories as cheaper versions. If anyone believes Vanquish has a factory for every product they sell, then you're exactly the customer they hope for..
what is funny is where is the true cost in the vanquish??? its a what 8lb rc car , most likely made in same place its china period amazing how much packaging cost lol
If you want to support a Chinese company that is a known source of counterfeit parts that's your choice. I prefer to support a US company who sells a legally licensed wheel even if it costs more.
I can see what your saying and respect your choice but to me on limited funds a wheel is a wheel, if it does its job I'm happy, i don't need to know its officially licensed, even if it had the brand name etched into it I'd rather pay a 1/4 of the price for the same outcome
@Tamiya Tyro Lol what are you talking about. Almost everyone manufacturers in China so the American company you claim to support probably has Chinese partners for manufacturing it's products.
Vanquish wheels are made in China ass clown. Are you guys that out of touch with reality? The wheels are made in the same factory, Vanquish just robs your ass and laughs.
@@axidrain when I was at the hobby shop I could have sworn the vanquish tag said made in USA. I get it though. The trucks I have aren't made in the US neither is my radio or 90% of the hobby stuff. Scx10.3 is made in China and the trx4 says made in Taiwan all over it
@@Jeff-vh1ln vanquish wheels are made in house in USA, not in China, they have a plant on site that they cnc the wheels all day everyday, learn your stuff

They really aren't knock offs of anything considering they're all made in the same place.
I've got several sets of 40 dollar wheels and love them I would love to own a set of vanquish wheels but there not worth 4 times the price.
Ordered those exact red wheels on eBay. I’ve been super excited about getting them but now even more so! Thanks for the great review
Nickolas Landon they’re just as good!
underated youtuber
Great beadlock comparison very interesting great 👍 video and information bro.
Souledout RC thanks so much!
I have a bunch of the cheap ones, was wondering if I was missing out on anything. Guess not, thanks lol
There will always be those who insist ridiculous cost equals superior quality. If a cheaper product performs exactly as intended, pay for the name if you prefer. I shop wisely.
Thank you , i just purchased amazon djx wheels , i will try it ❤
Is this easy to install ?
I see a lot of screws
Will these wheels work for a 2.2 comp crawler moa. With weights on the front axle hubs 👍🏻🔥😎🔥🤙🏻

gpage agreed!
I love your videos. I hope you keep making them
How do you know if you're going to need a hub adapter? Thanks!
How much do they weigh compared to the Vanquish wheels in crawlers weight placement matters
Anyone know what size the ring and hub hardware is on the injora beadlocks? Some of mine stripped putting the rim together 😒

Hi there I have the same rims you mentioned you needed an adapter to fit them could you tell me the link for the adapter please 🙏🏻
Very helpful video. Upgrades are in my future.🌻
Great review...Was wondering if the SLW hubs fit on the Chinese knock offs?

They are a little more narrow than stock wheels so they make the tire a little taller.
If I had to do it all over again I'd get 1.9 wheels instead because it's hard to find 2.2 tires that are 1.9 height
Are you using the proline white foams with the tire ?
Vanquish looks more scale ,especially the smaller deadlock bolts. The injora ones are not as strong fyi.
great video.. why spend a ton of money with the same thing right?
They come out of the same factory. The VP might get a better quality check. Maybe a better aluminum. Just like your grocery store brands. Out of the same factory but no money invested in advertising.

Lol..I’m using Chinquish too..basically they r all from the same factory..just different brand ..
Vanquish wheels are made in USA, in house, not in China..
I just ordered the injora about 60 days for delivery
The problem I keep getting with this chinese products for RCs is that even if I use the right driver for the bolts they strip anyways
I bet the same manufacturer produces these wheels. I bet Vanquish requested 5 holes on rear, Injora probably has 4 so they manufacture can say there different.

To be honest, most rc players in China choose this cheaper one.
100% high quality
