Racing our 1025HP G82 M4 against some of Europe's fastest cars at Race 1000

- With the initial Stage 3 build complete and dyno tested it was time to shakedown the car properly and start refining the setup. With 1000HP+ there is only really one safe place to do this, and that's on an airstrip.
We headed over to Germany and the Race 1000 event to give us a chance to properly put the car to the test, and race against some of Europe's fastest cars around!
This allows us to properly measure the vehicles current performance against other vehicles in the same environment.
With the weekend successfully completed and the car driving the 1000km home its now time to push things even further with all the data we have gained from this event!

Did you see Hector there? He is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that he just came into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS, and a Motec system exhaust

Motec system exhaust.. lol $30,000 later, you have an exhaust that not only makes your car sound amazing but it also controls your engine, traction, control, and everything else. Amazing, all from pipes. No more cables needed. They were on to something back on the fast furious days.

@@2seepand? lol go say that to every single car around. Supercharged or turbocharged it’s not NA. Look at the Nissan gtr or any European or foreign automobiles? They’ve been using turbos for awhile, it’s just “boost” 🤡
Some nice footage & of the other cars too. That 765LT is impressive with 296kph and that 720S is definitely not stock doing well over 300kph
Don’t think any of the cars there were stock, such a huge amount well above 1000HP too!
This red Audi R8 has 2,500 horsepower

I' remember that I' offered you a transfer to the German event, and Imran responded to me and said that the matter interested him, and here he is there today.
Happy with the good experience. There were a large number of heavily mined cars and the photography was wonderful
The only thing that we lacked is longer distances, just like what happened in the (V-MAX), and the other thing is that I felt those scars on the asphalt and the tires crossing them were somewhat annoying.
I' hope you provide more of this quality in speed tests, because we really missed that in this distinguished channel. Thank you. 👏👏👏

Love this build,I did race wars in May with my very good friend & that was a mile long of which between us we did 25 runs ! so yes Berlin is a long way to go for 4 1/2 mile runs ! !
We did about 10 runs total, unfortunately our schedules never lined up with race wars but next year we’ll be at a few more for sure.

It looks like the 4wd system could use a bit of calibration. The car spins the rear tyres and then equalizes the power with the front axle. Maybe some kind of preload to the front axle could fix this.

Did you manage to max it out on the Autobahn and driving into Berlin spot the dilapidated grandstand on the left of the road. The road is a part of the old Avus race track.
No autobahn maxing in this trip but did have a few squeezes just to check it was working well 😉 And yes did spot the Avus grandstand! Lovely little bit of surprise history. There was an E36 special edition named after it, and I guess the colour is also named from it!
Some otter cars looked faster and more aggressive with more drama but they are not. The g82 is faster and a lot quiter than the others. So well planted. 👍

You need to hold that break so hard on launching or it pushed through the breaks 👌
With the upgraded transmission it needs some more development to all work happily together. At a certain point the torque becomes too high and the car releases the rear brake as seen here.
Try to go to og battles or car wow im sure it would be amazing in them races, and you could data log and tune at the same time 👀
It’s funny you should mention both of those 🤫 But at filming days like those there isn’t usually much opportunity for testing and tuning as the schedules are pretty tight to maximise filming in one day.

The quarter mile and 100-200 times seem a bit high for a 1000hp car. Do you have a dyno graph?

How does the M4 launch controll work? am asking as it keeps breaking wheel before actually launching
The launch control needs a lot more work to function correctly at this power level, but we’ll get there

Sadly due to lane closures we didn’t actually get to line up against much :( There was some seriously quick cars there!

Great start , what tyres are you using tho?
Michelin PS4S* that the car came on. For an event like this where weather conditions might not be favourable and no tyre warming burnouts are allowed we’ve found them to be the best choice.

A fast car that is only fast once is not a fast car 🤫 We’re all about reliability and drivability. After this Imran took it on a track day at Bilsterberg and then drove it the 1000km home, and did another race event which was filmed for another channel!

Our schedules never lined up for Racewars sadly, straightliners seems to run fairly regularly so we hope to get to some of those too. 2024 we’ll be getting them in the calendar for sure.

I aint no genius or anything but pushing the car hard like that on coldish oil surely isnt good, nor will the results be as good as can be, am i right in saying that?? you can see at 7:35 the oil isnt near 100c, more like 50-60+/-.

It's doing mid 4s with a full tank of fuel
