What an amazing movie, it really touched me
I am still feeling the repercussions of the movie, you were privy from the get go to the drama of the two protagonists.
Powerhouse movie! The cast, the script, the acting, everything about this movie is golden. And it’s time for Jonathan Pryce to get his first Oscar. So underrated yet so talented.
Anything Anthony touches is amazing !
What a wonderful movie. Two actors at the height of their powers. I'm not Catholic; not even religious. But, these actors show the power of human warmth and their caring shines through brilliantly.

@@TheHeraclion Yes, I had little interest in Benedict before I saw this, but now (even though I still don't agree with everything he stood for) I can see his point of view and appreciate his good intentions. Mind you, I don't agree with everything Papa Francisco says either (a lot of what he says, but definitely not everything).
We need this movie to be Oscar 2020 Best Picture!!!!
I’m not religious but, the power of this story, the performances of these great actors, along with a wonderful script, and we have something that touches the humanity in all of us. I don’t know who the other Oscar contenders will be, but this film deserves a nomination.

Brilliant writing an inspired acting. I have watched this movie many times and am always deeply touched. Pope Francis almost makes me convert.
I can't live with the thought that in a film where they place such emphasis on the little details, they can't position the camera correctly. On 4:16 the camera is obviously off by a few degrees. This doesn't at all seem like it was intended

Thought Hopkins could have tried a bit harder to capture the character of Benedict. Was more Hopkins than Benedict I thought; whereas Pryce became Francis!!

This movie is just a fiction and a very peculiar interpretation of that transition outside a religious context. You don't have to believe that the real characters are like that, nor their ideas.
Sir Anthony, tell us the thrut (la vérité) what`s going on with covid 19, please. Thank you..
