    Ran into a couple guys on Can Ams way up in Ontario. Trail was brutal and even though my Big Bear is pretty darn good in the mud I barely made it through a couple spots. Very deep. These guys came through on outlanders and made it look easy. Next ATV will be a canam....

    I think octacruiser should make a video telling the world there machines are maxed out with the best mods running turbos and nos. there quads running about $30-$40k a bike. when I first started watching there videos I decided to invest in a renegade and tried to be like them. I sooner came to realize that stock can am' s on 31 inch laws is expensive. I went through 3 transmissions, 4 driveshafts, and a shit ton of axles. I recently invested in a 2017 Rubicon and its the best bike I've owned.

  • @jarenschaffer858
    @jarenschaffer858 7 років тому

    I had a four wheeler that we rode without a clutch lever😂. Couldn’t stop. No battery so we had to push start it. It was fun.

  • @ostacruiser
    @ostacruiser  11 років тому

    Almost none of us run aftermarket axles, the stock ones are some of the strongest oem ones you can get, just have to stay 2" or under for lift, they don't like the extra angle that a lift puts on them

  • @ostacruiser
    @ostacruiser  11 років тому

    Most all of us run QSC primaries and stm secondaries, the stock clutches are fairly inefficient in their design. Pulling a decent load when running large aggressive mud tires is going to be hard on belts for sure

  • @dustensmith

    Can-am all the way baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    i even drove my can-am in my swimming pool

  • @ostacruiser
    @ostacruiser  11 років тому

    Only the Xmr and limiteds have the air suspension and imo they do not hold up in the mud. The only thing you may have trouble with is the rear diff, the XT's have the regular diff, the Xmr has the upgraded stronger unit. You will never look back if you go Can am

  • @ostacruiser
    @ostacruiser  11 років тому

    That's an easy answer...because we bought and paid for them, and it's what we enjoy. Been doing it for 7+ years and have yet to wreck a machine doing it. So ride where you want and what you like and carry on...lol

    Osta- Love the channel man! Keep up the good work. I ride a Polaris 500 and it does what I need in my hill climbing and trail riding here in Illinois. If I could afford a Can Am I would definitely switch for more hp and mud flinging. Haters are gonna Hate. Keep hitting those Swamps Osta!

    Just so everyone is clear, these quads are running aftermarket parts and have been heavily modified. I know this by experience. I saw these videos and I went out and bought me a XMR 1000 and broke both front and rear driveshafts.. They will not do this out of the crate.. And BRP warranty sucks, they are just awful..

    People can hate on polaris all they want. But here's some facts: Polaris was the first cvt transmission, and only 1 company does not use that technology now. First true 4wd, and still the best. With the creation of the sportsman in 94-95 revolutionized the industry with atvs, and simply dollar for dollar were the best money could buy. More units sold than any other company including honda. Just another company for polaris industries to crush. Give em time...

    • @shaunh2015
      @shaunh2015 8 років тому

      I know 3 people in our ATV group of friends that have gone Polaris to Can-Am. Zero regret their decision and zero have gone the other way. Polaris may have led the way in technology in the 90s but that was 20 years ago.

    • @joebiker5992
      @joebiker5992 8 років тому

      +Shaun Allan I don't dislike the can-ams. Heck, it's kinda hard to buy a bad wheeler now days. But for the ones who say polaris is a pos has no idea what they're talking about. Their technology made be 20 years old, but it still works... still better than most, and as good as anything else on the market
