I love the detecting talk of the day videos. Always some good thoughts you put out. I talk to calabash pretty regularly too. He will put that thing through the ringer. Several bugs have already been exposed.
You mentioned the Legend. A huge problem with these new machines being "tested" is they look for brand loyal folks swinging their products and contact them. Hey we'll send you a new blah blah detector and just give us some feedback. Most of these folks have only been detecting a short time and it makes them feel important. The ones that are making waves are the people who have been digging for yrs and don't care about brand loyalty. They have enough experience to know that using the best tool for the job is what produces. Really, if you look at these social media users (yourself included).....none of them care about being popular. Imagine that.
Sounds about right. I wonder if some of the testers even know what to be looking for. It helps to have operated multiple other platforms. Even have some of these other platforms to do compare the test unit with. I get the idea lot of testers are looking at the same stuff, or they may be thinking some other tester will loook at whatever. Hence a good overall look at detector is lacking. Allowing testers who are all under nda, why would it hurt to allow these people to have discussions with other testers. Two heads are better than 1? Duh! 3 heads better than 2 ? Duh! Would doing what I suggest prevent all errors or problems on new releases? Probably not. Should decrease chances though. It can be lonely testing s detector model too. By only being able to talk to the manufacturer. Been there and done that. I think doing what I suggest would make some of the testers better for future testing too. Cheers.
I wonder what they did with all the White technology they got. I wonder if they even know what they have. I love my Deus 2 only one machine for me here. Thanks for sharing.

You ask a good question. Don’t know the answer.
That's all Garrett has… not much.
