After returning home from our visit to Vietnam and Bangkok, we spent just a day and a half at our house before getting on the road again. Sometimes, it feels as though our home is just a layover for us. We are not complaining, and we would not change one thing about the way we live today. We consider ourselves very fortunate and blessed for the lifestyle we currently have. Life is unpredictable and we know that we need to live our dream now before it is too late. “Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. That's true, don't wait till u can't walk, talk or smells nothings before it's too late...enjoy life while you can, anywhere everywhere all at once!!!😅
You all are on the road again, that's great you're enjoying your retirement there in Thailand, you and Gift making the best of all Thailand. Take care.
Thanks so much Gift & Joe for showing me the market in my home town . I live in Keaau on the Big Island ,Hawaii .I have not been back to visit for almost 4 yrs. I have to thanks Chuck & Page for all the clips to Surat Thani too.
Love the way you keep on doing stuff, being occupied is the way to go in retirement. You and Chuck are like Starsky and Hutch! I guess that makes Daz Huggy bear ✌🏿☕️🐶
Hello Joe and Gift, 2.22am A "DIS STINK" smell ay hehe Looking forward to the Island video. Just to let you know the overnight temp is 4 degrees C 😲 and 16 C daytime, but with sun blue sky and no wind. Great video, 10 / 10 Keep Well, Stay Safe my friends.
Gift and Joe, I just want to say how much I miss and love Bangkok. Seeing your videos of Bangkok only makes me want to go back for another visit. There is just one thing I don't understand about Bangkok. Others South East Asia cities have been getting rid of those bird nests of electrical power lines on concrete telephone poles, but year after year, I just see those power lines bird nests becoming bigger bird nests on the streets of Bangkok. Why don't they just put all those power lines in sealed pipes underneath the side walks like what others cities have done? All those power lines all bundled together on poles really looks so dangerous and intimidating to walk underneath.
Love the camaraderie you and Chuck share with one another. Kind of the same reason I don't retire. I live in Los Angeles California and it's difficult to find people like yourself. Here so many people are fake if not cold. Good people even here exist but hard to find. I would love the opportunity to spend some time with you and Chuck. I think we could become friends. I am a ex sailor and throw a lot of F bombs so there's that 😂 BTW Gift is a very sweet and classy lady 😉 You struck gold when you found her Joe😎
The mango looks delicious, however Hygienic and sanitary practices among food vendors in Thailand demonstrated the following levels of adherence: washing hands with soap after toilet use (always 33.2%, sometimes 46.8%), washing hands with soap prior to preparing food (always 63%, sometimes 34%), keeping clean fingernail (98.5%), protection of hair (33.6%)
Interesting! The good news is, folks can observe the hygiene practices of the vendors prior to purchasing any products. It amazes me how people have a choice nowadays. What country are you from?
@@thaigirlgiftforeignerjoe7774Look. The reality is that in Thailand, you’re going to get food poisoning. Certainly at street stalls and floating markets. Even at restaurants in big cities. Surely there can be issues with contaminated food, lack of refrigeration, flies, etc. However, the bigger issue is contaminated water and poor hand hygiene from the vendors using no gloves and everything that the contaminated water will have come in contact with and that you will put in your mouth. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. This is not exclusive to Thailand. Food poisoning happens in “advanced countries” too, it’s just an order of magnitude less likely. And waterborne pathogens are also much less likely E coli bacteria Infection from person to person is possible via a smear infection. The pathogens are carried on the hands of the sick in the smallest traces of stool residue, get from hand to hand and then easily into the mouth. Max / Ko Samui
I’ve had a food borne illness in the US, Italy, Germany and once in the almost 5 years since living in Thailand, so yes it for sure happens. In regards to your last comment, you are making an assumption which is typical. You didn’t see the lady sanitizing her hand but we did. BTW, your English is good for being Thai. You did say you were from Thailand (Ko Samui). Have a nice day.
I hope you take time out of your busy travel schedule to get your PSA blood test once a year. Remember an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Kara went from a nice girl from Texas to visiting massage parlors in Thailand!
Thai massages are awesome. Not all massage parlors in Thailand are the same.
I should have put a "lol" at the end of my reply!
I love the foot massage. Feet are killing me.
Chucks Whataburger shirt must be in the laundry.😂 Joe needs to find a KFC shirt so they can be twinsies. 😅

@@thaigirlgiftforeignerjoe7774 so why you buy from a vendor which use no gloves in pealing your mango

Hey Joe and Chuck, die hard conservative/republican here, but accept all forms of life style, don’t care about anyone’s life style.
