Dreamworks really missed an opportunity to explore this more, I could totally have seen Shrek 5 being a film about Shrek’s parents showing up to confront him about how his actions are making ogres across the entire world forsake tradition and befriend the humans that once hunted and despised them
They we’re all loners I guess. If Shrek, who looks decent for an Ogre is called Ugly and a monster. Then the other ogres we’re probably treated the same or worse.
I Can't Stop Sparkling Well yeah, thats the whole point of Shrek, people were bad to him because they perceived him as unsightly, but he doesn't look too bad for an ogre, so of course the more ugly ones would be treated worse.
@@a_pufferfish2936 shrek is as good looking a human as boy toy charming, so it stands to reason that shrek is a better looking ogre, but he is actually much shorter than the other ogres in an alternate universe
@@nekoluYeah, Shrek was definitely smaller than some of the other ogres. But Shrek is as good looking as Charming? He's nicer and more descent than Charming (once people understand him better), but he's not as good looking as Charming. Or, were you referring to the handsome human Shrek turned into in Shrek 2?
@@alvexok5523 yeah I was talking about human shrek in shrek 2. The ladies all loved him just like how the world was enchanted by Prince Charming. Even the talking cabinets in the far far away castle called shrek a pretty boy, although they were threatening shrek.
I was always under the impression that the Ogres were all killed under orders by Lord Farquaad or the villagers and Shrek was the last one they were about to kill but proved to be a lot more smarter and wasn't afraid of humans. As for them appearing back in the normal timeline, they were brought back via magic I guess.. of course I never got to read the comics.
So the rest of the ogres were killed in the original timeline? All except Shrek (and Fiona if she counts)? But they weren't all killed in the alternate timeline? That's an interesting theory, since the alternate timeline was overall less civilized, and the ogres even more hated than in the original. Everyone loved Shrek by the 4th movie in the original timeline. I do realize though that initially ogres were hated in the original timeline. Overall, there definitely were at some point other ogres besides Shrek, or else how would've Shrek been born? The question is when and where did the other ogres die?
Late but that makes little sense. Lord Farquaad's decree was only a recent thing, which is why the Fairy Tale creatures were only recently annexed from the resounding area which ended up with them in Shrek's swamp. Plus, Lord Farquaad wasn't a King, so his area of effect wasn't all that large to begin with, just extending a bit of the way into The Enchanted Forest and extended provinces. He wouldn't have the manpower to find every Ogre shown especially if they live in similar areas like Shrek which are far and in-between from one another it looks like. Fiona being an Orc doesn't really make much sense either for that matter unless Rumpelstiltskin managed to assassinate the Fairy Godmother after King Harold already came to an agreement with her. It's just nonsense made for the movie, in reality what makes sense is that Orcs exist already in the normal timeline but far and apart from each other whereas in the new timeline all Ogres had to band together to survive.
My theory is that they were off on their own. But when rumple too power he started hunting them and capturing them to find shrek. So. They rallied together to fight the man who disrupted their peace.
Can you a video of Hercules theorizing how everyone in the village that Hercules was raised who called and considered him a "Freak" reacted to Hercules' suddenly fame and fortune as Greece's greatest hero? Because I always wanted to know how the villagers who despised Hercules reacted to his suddenly fame and fortune as Greece's greatest hero.
People are fickle. In the beginning, no one knew who Hercules was, even calling him a 'freak' for his god-like strength and how he can cause dangerous havoc because he was unable to control it. Finding out he is the son of the most-powerful greek god, capable of defeating monsters, it was the cause of his newfound fame. I think that they tried to kiss up to Hercules when they rralized who he was though. It's the same with Harry Potter. The first book labels him a 'Wizarding Savior' with every magical being knowing who he is and wanting to shake his hand. Throughout the series, Harry is practically worshipped by most people, but soon hated and became the scapegoat for their lack of common sense in the second and fifth books. People admire others as idols, believing they can do no wrong, when they are in fact people with their own thoughts and ideas.
I want to know what would have happened if Charming reached Fiona first and how they would trick Fiona into believing the kiss worked when it didn't because her true love is Shrek not charming.
Well Fiona didn’t begin loving Shrek, so he definitely wasn’t her true love at first (heck Shrek himself wasn’t all that interested in her either), but rather they ended up falling in love as time passed, that’s very much part of the plot of Shrek 4, also remember Fiona was also very excited to meet Charming, almost brainwashed into wanting him be her husband and kiss him in the mouth right away, while keeping that excitement when Shrek told her she’s still getting a man, and it being an evil scheme of the Fairy Godmother, love at first sight may have easily done the trick, and the plan would’ve just continued very perfectly, all they needed was have her marry Charming, so he became king, and from there, Fiona has fulfilled her role, and she and her parents matter no more
I think they were separated because of the people wanting to hunt them, and Shrek just didn't know the summoning horn. But since he learned it in the alternate timeline and used it when he returned, they found him
Short answer they’re living in peace in their own swamps and communities as in Shrek’s original world they aren’t being persecuted anymore than usual When Rumplestilskin changed the world with his deal, he persecuted every Ogre he can find both out of pettiness as he resents Shrek, and to search for him for when he appeared in this world When Fiona escaped the Tower and embraced her Ogre side, she organized the Ogres into a resistance movement against Rumplestilskin But in the original world, they weren’t gathered together and had no reason to come together as Ogres seem to be solitary creatures by nature, content in finding their own swamps and living alone

I feel this is the case: ogres were feared and hated by others, and for a while this was fine, because ogres liked it that way. However when Lord Farquad and then subsequently the kingdom of Far Far away began to use this fear and hate and saw a opportunity to gain popularity by removing the ogres they did so.By the time Shrek was born, Farquad hadn’t appeared yet so likely while non existed in Far Far away anymore due to the kingdom being extremely civilised compared to other places we see and massive shock at the presence of a ogre being visible in the second film, plenty still existed. After all ogres loved swamps, and Shrek lived in a large one. However Farquad began to remove fairy tale creatures and ogres, and so ogres were either killed, deported, or fled. When shrek was young there was probably a small community in the enchanted forest and swamps, hence why he seems to be living in a ideal place for ogres and knows so much about ogres despite being the only real one we see, because probably the first 20 years of his life there were others. However gradually they began to dwindle, some killed by villagers, others captured, and since ogres didn’t socialise much they likely didn’t notice.Shrek became the last one left in the area, because he was the only one smart and strong enough to evade people. We see in the beginning that he clearly was known to the locals so one imagines that the locals wished to cash in pn the longtime bounty placed on ogres.

Hi Isaac Carlson or maybe you could make a video about what some spin off movies that are connected to Santa Clause would look and explain about tooth fairy, father time, easter bunny, or mother nature?
In my opinion, an Ogre-centric plot should’ve been the main premise for the Shrek sequels, mainly Shrek 2. We could have seen disgruntled reactions from other villages on Shrek and Fiona’s marriage, where the main theme is intersectionality between Ogres and humans. The main villain would be an Ogre, probably Shrek’s parents For Shrek 3, I’d keep the Arthurian influence, but the human main villain seeks to eliminate all Ogres from the lands. This is where we get Fiona’s origins and heritage, where we learn the Fiona was the oldest child of Ulther Pendragon (thus Arthur’s sister), who, along with her mother, Guinevere, was killed by the main villain (who’s probably be Mordred) For Shrek 4 (the final film), all of Shrek and Fiona’s fairytale friends team up against the original witch who cast Fiona’s curse (who will be an amalgamation of Maleficent, the Evil Queen and Morgan le Fey), whose goal is to transform every creature into an ogre so she can enslave them all Just a little rant
Can you do a video on the love story of Queen Lillian and King Harold and please react to the have you seen the Mickey Mouse shorts third wheel please react to that and please make a video about the life story of Jonas who was she before the tower
It all boils down to ogres following tradition. If you're raised & being taught to cause chaos you're not gonna think to regroup with your own kind; ogres are literally kicked out at very young ages so it's safe to basically say the ogres all have their own swamps in different villages spreaded out across the lands. Other ogres exist before the 4th film but they're separated/segregated due to tradition. The answer to why they all live together in the rumple stiltskin timeline is because they're working together to stop him, apparently rumple was rounding them up capturing & killing them to stop the existence of shrek & breaking the contract deal.
I still ask myself two questions: How come there were no female ogres in the last Shrek 4 except Fiona if ALL ogres decided to stick together and live in one place during their endangering period? And how could there be newborn ogres if all ogres were meant to live isolated from everyone? How could even new ogres be born then?
Can you do a theory about what could happened to Snow White's father, The King, before the events of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves? Because I want to know if he died in a war against an enemy kingdom like it happened in the book "Fairest of them all: A Tale of a Wicked Queen", or maybe simply the Evil Queen poisoned him to take over the kingdom.
Can you a video about a Sleeping Beauty Theory called Would Maleficent still have cursed Aurora had she’d been invited to the christening? Because sometimes when I see Sleeping Beauty, I question myself if Maleficent had been invited to Aurora's christening, would Maleficent still have cursed the princess.
I don't think so. She only cursed the baby when she wasn't invited and the other fairies gave the baby gifts in front of Maleficent as sort of bragging rights. Had she been invited and treated with respect, she probably would've either given Aurora a gift too or even taught her magic as she grew

Because I want know if she was born a fairy or she was originally a human, how she got her magic wand, how she learned the magic word Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo to use the wand and if she has helped any other princesses and girls before she helped Cinderella to marry Prince Charming and getting her Happily Ever After.
So I saw your video about Duck Tales Being Cancelled ☹️ So if you haven't already, you could you do a entire Backstory of Flintheart Glomgold?? I feel really bad for you so also maybe you analyze the older Duck Tales?? Hope this will lift you spirits!! Have a magical day and happy holidays!!
man I hope cookie is ok for carring a whole movie by himself
I wonder if it may have anything with rumples "a deal of a lifetime" contract for capturing shrek. By shrek saying "bring back the ogres" he never specified to where or when. Maybe they came back to the original timeline cause of the second contract since rumple ended up being caught anyway
Just one more thing I like to say. I know Ducktales (2017) is going to end. But before that happens, could you please do more character analysis videos? Characters like Gandra Dee, Pepper, BOYD and Bubba the cave Duck deserve it. So please do these videos before Ducktales comes to an end. We really need this.🦆🤯🥲
Ehy Wotso, can you do a video about how Shrek never borning led to the alternate reality we see in the fourth movie?
I mean, it'd be interesting to find an explanation as to why Puss became fat or as to why the Muffin Man now organizes gladiator fights, as well as answering questions like where did characters like the Fairy Godmother and Lord Farquaad go?
My personal theory is that it's not just the disappearance of Shrek that led to that future, but also the fact that Rumpelstiltskin retains his memories, inclining him to hate all the ogres or to ruin Shrek's old friends' lifes somehow. But I'd like to hear your ideas in a video too.
Do an video trying to Connect Pixar's Soul with Coco.
why did I end up down a youtube rabbit hole that led be to shrek lore
Just what I was looking for, Shrek lore
Can you do a video telling The Beast's full story? Because I want to know if the Beast's past in the 2017 version of "Beauty and the Beast" about being abused and "trained" by his father to become a cruel, heartless, spoiled and selfish leader after his mother's death is the official background of the Beast in Disney Universe, and for how many years the the Beast/Prince Adam became cursed.
Disney love to change plots a lot so nobody will never know
Can you a video about Li Shang's full story? Because I want to know much was his dedication and training through his whole life to become a great General of Imperial Chinese Army like his father, General Li. And I want to you explain the difference between the animated and live-action versions of Li Shang.
Can you a video telling Prince Phillip's full story? Because I want to you teorizing what could happened to his mother, if she died giving birth to Philip, died from some illness when Phillip was a child or if Maleficent killed her. Also I want to know how years old was Prince Phillip when he or adopted or was gifted by his father King Hubert with his loyal noble steed Samsom.
Can you do a video about Audrey's full story? Because like me, there are others Descendants fans who are curious about knowing if Queen Leah made Audrey believe that was her destiny to become queen of Auradon. And If her parents expected too this future for Audrey, because her grandmother said "A lifetime of planes Gone!" when King Ben proposed to Mal to be his wife and Queen.
Exelent video
Can you do a video about Disney's Cinderella's Prince Charming? Because I want to know if The King and the Queen told him many times the story of how they met and fell in love in order to make Prince Charming believe in find True Love someday and if his mother's death when he was only a child influenced and made him to lose interest in the responsibilities as future king.
Can you please do a video about Arthur's whereabouts in Shrek 4?
That really explains a lot
Man i have asperger been diagnosed with, and i feel like sometimes people see me as a monster.
Please make a video about Phineas and Ferb in Candace's parents please play video about their love story
Isaac Carlson could you do another video about The Santa Claus movie about what a story would be like if disney would make either a prequel movie that explains the previous Santa's life before scott takes over the role?
Does this mean that Shrek Forever After retcons the previous Movies?
Can you do a video about Disney's Snow White's Prince? Because I always wanted to theorize where he came from, if The Prince has siblings and IF The Prince had already met Snow White before the events of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, like it happened in the book "Fairest of them all: A Tale of a Wicked Queen".
Seeing as how they didn't have a common enemy, they would have been scattered.
Awesome 🤩 😎 👏🏿
TL;DR Ogres are traditionally loners and only banded together while being hunted.
What do you think of Fiona would be like in truck 5 I have a really interesting question a lot of questions actually
Hi Wotso your channel is awesome and I have an idea for Christmas would you do scrooge's life story if you don't mind let me know please take care and stay healthy 👊❤👊❤👊❤
The question is: Ebenezer Scrooge or Scrooge McDuck? 😆
*They both old*
@@IsaacCarlson Ebenezer Scrooge
man is asking the real questions here
2001-2010. Kinda reminds of Avegners: Endgame, Nebula came from 9 years into the future.
You ask good questions can ask why Henry danger didn't move in game shakers after the ending of show
Hi Isaac Carlson or maybe you could make a video about what some spin off movies that are connected to Santa Clause would look and explain about tooth fairy, father time, easter bunny, or mother nature?
In my opinion, an Ogre-centric plot should’ve been the main premise for the Shrek sequels, mainly Shrek 2. We could have seen disgruntled reactions from other villages on Shrek and Fiona’s marriage, where the main theme is intersectionality between Ogres and humans. The main villain would be an Ogre, probably Shrek’s parents
For Shrek 3, I’d keep the Arthurian influence, but the human main villain seeks to eliminate all Ogres from the lands. This is where we get Fiona’s origins and heritage, where we learn the Fiona was the oldest child of Ulther Pendragon (thus Arthur’s sister), who, along with her mother, Guinevere, was killed by the main villain (who’s probably be Mordred)
For Shrek 4 (the final film), all of Shrek and Fiona’s fairytale friends team up against the original witch who cast Fiona’s curse (who will be an amalgamation of Maleficent, the Evil Queen and Morgan le Fey), whose goal is to transform every creature into an ogre so she can enslave them all
Just a little rant
Cool
Can you do a video on the love story of Queen Lillian and King Harold and please react to the have you seen the Mickey Mouse shorts third wheel please react to that and please make a video about the life story of Jonas who was she before the tower
Hey! That would be great!!! 😃
@@christiannawatlington4471 thank you
Shrek has the deepest lore. Don't even challenge me on that.
I still ask myself two questions:
How come there were no female ogres in the last Shrek 4 except Fiona if ALL ogres decided to stick together and live in one place during their endangering period?
And how could there be newborn ogres if all ogres were meant to live isolated from everyone? How could even new ogres be born then?
i want to learn more about shreks parents and are they still or left to move some where far far away
Thank you and God bless
Can you do a theory about what could happened to Snow White's father, The King, before the events of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves? Because I want to know if he died in a war against an enemy kingdom like it happened in the book "Fairest of them all: A Tale of a Wicked Queen", or maybe simply the Evil Queen poisoned him to take over the kingdom.
I think the last one is more likely
In Shrek forever after I’m happy because he’s not the only one ❤ he wasn’t the one last one of his kind 🙂
Ur theory is ok but sorrt mine is better we can collab if you like my theory is amazing
Great theory
Can you do a video about High School Musical theorizing what is the job of Gabriella’s mother who makes them both move so much? Because is so mysterious the reason that makes Gabriella Montez and her mom Mrs. Montez from city to city from time to time.
I realize they all look better then shriek
My favorite character from shrek is princess 👸 Fiona
I have wondered this as well. Wonder where all the ogres were at
Today I learned Shrek had a comic and a musical....
