In the cave flash back Arthur was possessed by the little demon on the bottom left and pushed Lewis to his death. Mystery's true form is a powerful kitsune and he tore off Arthur's arm to stop the possession ala Evil Dead so now he wears a mechanical arm. Lewis died with hatred in his heart. Vivi if not mistaken got memory wiped. waiting for the 3rd sequel for more story.
from my understanding is that there's a series of videos like this being created, but only this one and Freaking Out have been made so far they're really amazing though! and it's a very neat, ongoing story
