I love how this game conveyed the message well in a way it broke our hearts so bad and let us feel how it's like to be abandoned and rejected. I think the build up and how the cat's perspective, same with what happens when we abandon them was done well in making it more impactful. This is definitely something any pet owner and would-be pet owner should at least watch or play. Taking care of a pet is a lifetime commitment and should be taken just as serious as taking care of another person. Giving up on them just because it was inconvenient, caused a conflict at home or we just don't want them anymore is never an option. Domestication made them unable to live the way they do in the wild and were taught to engage and rely on humans for food and care. All we can do is to return their kindness by giving them their basic needs, affection and a place that they can call home. I'm tired crying, but thanks for letting us watch this gameplay. It made me want to hug my cat even more. ...Oh yeah the cat she picked looked like my cat!
I honestly feel angry with Olive, like wth?! You don’t just leave a cat in the wild like that! Not to mention, it wasn’t either of the cats faults, she was the one who decided to adopt another cat right after her other one ran away. This angers me so much that she did that.
Not me just over here balling my eyes out forcing my cat to cuddle me. My goodness I cried like the entire game!! 😭 Abandoning cats or dogs in the country is not safer. There are a lot of predators and large machinery. Speeding is much more common as well. If we don't find the babies first they will be all alone and scared in their final moments. At least at a shelter they have a chance.
Same! I watched another UA-camr playthrough, and I was crying toward the end, and then I felt my cat rub my legs, and I picked him up and hugged him, and he looked at me like, "WTF did I do to deserve this? Ren, why are you crying?"
This old Cat just finished playing the game and actually found it refreshing. Short, but not difficult. A really good story driven game with simple controls and suitable for the whole family.
It reminds me so much of my own two cats. One of them got sick and I wasn't able to afford the medicine he needed, medicine he would have needed for the rest of his life. I made the hard decision to bring them both to the shelter to find a home where they would be able to get everything they required and deserved. I couldn't separate them, so I had to leave both my boys to find a better home together. I made sure they were only to be adopted together. They found a new home together two weeks after I left my precious boys at the shelter. They even got a new brother at their new home. I know it was for the best. It nearly ended me to give them up and I still feel terribly guilty about it. I miss them every day and it's been 4 years.
6:32 Lol I think my past life was that cat. As a child I loved being called Dawn even though it wasn’t my name and I have a cat just like the one you picked! My cat was a stray until we felt bad for her because she hadn’t eaten in days and she got in a brutal cat fight. 😢
That was like watching a movie in the autumn, wrapped in a comfortable blanket-so relaxing. I believe the narrator 25:55 was just explaining that, from an evolutionary perspective, cats benefit from being solitary. They are naturally inclined to be alone, whereas humans are highly social beings. This suggests that while cats thrive in solitude, humans flourish in social interactions. I think *Rembrandt* 13:55 enjoyed painting cats and exploring the play of light and shadow on their fur. 😉
I think I know the story of Don kids adopted her. She was a gift but they didn’t want her. That’s how she end up in shelter. That’s why she doesn’t trust anyone.😅
2:15 There are many humans feel the same way.. there are many ppl. That feel lost and would appreciate to be found… look around you and and you will see…
@@lucydogcrew3400 I'm pretty sure Sunrise is meant to be us as they wear the collar you make and also Dawn was the original cat in the first place so just makes sense.

That’s why when you lose a pet you shouldn’t adopt one that looks like them and because they look them doesn’t mean they’re personalities are the same
Exactly
Yeah fr

The saddest part is that the same thing happened to the other dawn im so happy they both got a home

I'm amazed this was made by two people.

It’s worse because she picked a breed of cat I OWN😭🙏
Tabby cats aren't a breed, they're just a color.
