In this tutorial, I'll show you how to add shine in Affinity Photo. Most people prefer brighter photos, so adding a little shine can really make your photos pop! 😊 - Навчання та стиль
bonjours ,toujours excellent! merci
Curves layers for highlights and blacks!!! I am loving this technique, thanks
Glad you like it! 😄
Thank you, Ally, for another useful and well-explained video. What you do well in these short videos is focus on one element and not on two or more different tools or techniques.
Thank you Ken! 😊
wow
Editing would be much easier for this type of stuff if I just get comfortable using blending options.
Eye-opening tutorial! Well-done. Thank you!

Thanks. This was great. I will try it! Can you tell me what graphics tablet you use or recommend? I had troubles with my last Wacom ones…
I use this Wacom tablet, and it works well for me 🙂

@@AffinityRevolution thanks. I’ll check it out.
Thanks. Very useful. But what’s the difference between using blend ranges to restrict the curves adjustment and just manipulating the curve directly so that it affects only the highlights?
You could definitely do it like that. I just find that using blend ranges is easier than fiddling too much with the curves adjustment.
Present!❤ interesting way, I use NIK because I can select individual pieces to brighten, without multiple masking and layers. Using the blend is a great idea 😊
I didn't know NIK could do that! I'll need to check it out. 😊
@@AffinityRevolution its a big change in version 7
Hi, I’m at a lost. I’m looking for a video of a railroad track that had like bright streak of light going along each side of the track. Time of day night but the pic might have been edited for a night seen. I use to see it when searching on UA-cam for Affinity but now I’ve tried everything and can’t find it. There is one close but not it. Do you know what I’m talking about and who did the video?????
You're in luck! I do know the video you're talking about. Here is a link to it 😊

Hi Ally!
So fast! 😄
This doesn’t work on the iPad because Adjustment -> Invert turns the image into a negative .
