PSVR is getting some great games now. Astro bot, Tetris, Skyrim, doom, Moss, Wipeout make it a must buy now. No one can show you VR you have to see it yourself to belive it. Black Friday is also 100 pound off yayyyy
A year into owning PSVR and I'm still completely hooked. All that stuff about "it's a gimmick that wears off"... nope, not for me. Playing shooters on a flat screen feels like being in an upper-body brace now, compared to independent head movement and being able to aim each gun individually like you can in VR. To me, playing games in the same way generation after generation in a slightly higher resolution (while nice to have) is much more gimmicky than that.
It's a testament to the perfection that is Tetris for it still to be a problem if the core game is affected at all, even so creatively. I'll buy this for VR.

Imo, we still need a 4 player local and online vs game mode, including an option where if you clear a line, you can punish other players on their respective games, and depending on the lines cleared, combos, etc, you can be able to punish much more your rivals. A 2vs2 might be cool, also destroying special Tetriminos for special advantages or punishments for your rivals.

I used to own one but I was a bit dissapointed because of the low resolution and the huge amount of cables it needs. The vr games were fun but i quickly found myself playing the old fashioned way because I simply liked those games more. Buying PS VR is a costly investment and it wasnt worth the amount of time i played with it. So take these things into consideration before buying ;)
He obviously hasn't looked at the visual settings. If you look there is an option to minimise how crazy the particles get when clearing lines. Furthermore, there is a mode called Theatre Mode, unlocked by completing Journey Mode. There you can appreciate how much detail Tetsuya put into this game.
I have on PC and it's addicting. There's no other game I want to play it eases my mind and easy to pick up and play. Perfect balance of gameplay and music

the reviewer complains about stuff that only bad tetris players (and bad reviewers) would complain about. The change in speed doesn't come "out of nowhere", there's a musical clue. Effects in the Journey mode can be turned down if you have a problem seein the grid (but really if you play on a TV, it shouldn't be that hard). And there's no Zone mechanic in High-score modes because they are "classic modern" tetris without clutches.
I wish there would be a regular old school Tetris game without all the bells and whistles. I don't need all the fancy graphics and all the weird backgrounds. Just give me a black screen with the multicolored blocks. Yeah, I know they have the Puyo Puyo Tetris, and that is more along the lines and I'm looking for, but it's still not 100% quite right. If they could port over Tetris from Super Nintendo, they could take my money today.
I would like to see tetris blitz make it to ps4 with the sound mixes of this game or a custom soundtrack you can make of your own. Also tetris blitz had a lot of unique power ups that made that game so much fun.
Tetris plus is the best of all Tetris versions... I wish they made this game on a new platform...? Apple TV iPhone ps4 Xbox i would buy any of these to get this game.
I love Tetris and all, but not having multiplayer in the new Tetris is blowing minds. It makes me want to stick to the PS3 version that has been removed from the PlayStation Store until it gets shut down from EA servers. I wish the players would come back to it.
Bad review. This game is easily 10/10. The effects aren’t overly distraction considering the effects usually don’t go over the Tetris board. This game is a must play in VR. It’s relaxing and beautiful.
