We booked the Beam made bourbon tour ($22) that include 4 bourbon tastings. The tour includes a wonderful tour around the distillery, production area and warehouse where bourbon whiskey is made and aged. You can bottle a Knob Creek Single Barrel from the production lines, you can engrave it too with your name or customize it. The tour ends with a tasting of the 3 main products (Jim Beam, Basil Hayden’s and Knob Creek); the tasting number 4 you can pick whatever you want: Booker’s, Baker’s or Legent. You should book the Beam made bourbon tour in advance within 3 or 4 weeks to find an empty spot.

woow mochilazo, te quedo genial todo el video del recorrido, el interior se ve espectacular. Se ve que todo el proceso de hacer boburbon, en este caso jim beam, es maravilloso, cada elemento en la destilería hace que los bourbon tengan su personalidad. A mi me gusta mucho jim Beam. A mi también me gusta Jim Beam, tengo todos los Knob Creek en casa: Knob Creek 9yr, Knob Creek Single Barrel, Knob Creek 12yr y Knob Creek 15yr. Tambié tengo los de Basil Hayden y ese día compré uno de los Booker's, Baker/s, Legent y Jim Beam Single Barrel.
Recuerdo que visité la destilería hace 6 años y su tour dejaba mucho que desear. Cerraron y remodelaron, apenas abrieron a finales del año pasado (tomamos el tour en enero) y les quedó de perlas! Tienen restaurante también, sin duda una de las mejores experiencas del Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
Hablando de más videos de destilerías, estamos completando el Kentucky Bourbon Trail y subo vidoe de cad auna, en el canal tengo una lista de reproducción del Kentucky Bourbon Trail con todos los vídeos. Este es el video #7 y estaré subiendo 2 más después de este: Lux Row y Heaven Hill. Espero completarlo este año, son 16 destilerías. También el video del Distillery District de Lexington está cool. I use Maker's Mark bourbon to cook. It's a wheated bourbon and it match pretty good, specially with my tinga recipe (spicy chicken). If you cannot find it, another good one to cook is Woodford Reserve.
Maybe in Bahamas you can find a good rum aged in bourbon barrel, delicious!
