I am a 73 year old retired geography teacher sitting at home in Reading (30 miles west of London UK). I randomly came across your channel and I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your adventures. You are doing what hoped I might do in my retirement but family health issues have made this impossible but your videos provide a degree of comfort. Thank you.
Thank you for the pleasant comment and I'm happy that our videos give you some comfort! In the last 10-15 years, I have seen many people around me reach retirement age with grand plans of doing what they've always wanted to do, only to have health, family or financial complications stop them in their tracks. We decided to live while we can and make the best of it along the way. I worked from 15-38 at the same job and decided that I should try something different while I still could. Tomorrow is never promised. I hope you are doing well.
What a beautiful video of Yellowstone. Last time I was there was 60 years ago...I was 5. I was thrilled by it then and now again by your video.....Thank You!
We rushed thru Yellowstone and we didn't see it all in 4 days. We have been there 3x now. Love the park. Great job for minding the wildlife. You see to many get hurt every year by wildlife just for a picture
Agreed! We respect the wildlife and want to give the animals as much space as possible. And this was our first time in Yellowstone. We can't wait to come back there in the summer and explore the park!
I have visited Yellowstone two times, both in the summer. I never thought of visiting during the cold, but definitely will put it on the list. It has such a other worldly landscape like an alien planet. Appreciate you!
I have been watching your videos recently. Camping/Caravan was always an absolute favourite of mine, but never had the opportunity of doing it. I am writing to you from a small but beautiful Island called Sri Lanka, south of India. My country has beyong amazing lanscapes and natural beauty, unforunately is not a country which can make caravan/trailer homes practical and have not supplies to cater for such an adventure. Hopefully, if I get to reach the Country I plan to migrate with my family, then may be the dream will be a reality. Until such time I shall watch your videos and enjoy the lifestyle you both are living now. No doubt your thankful to have and enjoy what your blessed with right now.

@@Stonyboot we’ve been in late May/early June (still snow on the ground) and week of July 4th. Both had crowds everywhere. That’s the beauty of Yellowstone…everyone wants to see it. I have been to Yellowstone in January many times for vacation snowmobiling... no traffic since the park is closed to all except snow coaches and snowmobiles... more than beautiful. You should try it then and stay in West Yellowstone.
Great job on the series and hope there will be more to come. Just think you guys are in the cold and snow and back home here in New Hampshire we have had little cold and snow. LOL 🤩🤩🤩
love your adventures you might look into an auxiliary heater that uses engine coolant to heat your camper while driving or a wabatsu diesel heater would help save your batteries
@@Stonyboot You would say worth it even with the crowds? The dichotomy of a crowded wilderness, combined with all the tourist traps that attach to those attractions... it just has a weird feel about it. Have you ever watched Foresty Forrest YT channel?
Great work on the video, my wife has said it before, your posts seem to be a cut above a lot of the others we watch on UA-cam. I have driven from Bozeman to West Yellowstone many times, but never thru the park, alway had to turn onto hwy into Idaho. Someday I hope to make the trip. Thx for the teaser. Lol. Safe travels to you both.
Thank you so much! Yellowstone is definitely worth a visit. It was better than we expected in so many ways! The park is huge and there are so many places to see and so many activities to do. We only spent a couple of days there, but we can't wait to go back there sometime in the summer and have more time to explore.
Good evening from Godley Texas, great video photography. Amazing the number of people visiting National Parks at the onset of Winter. After spending time in Alaska I concur with you... wildlife is unpredictable. Stay safe and happy travels.😎
in most cases i drive to most national parks during the winter months....i will drive a truck, crew cab and 4x4.....THE CROWDS...a bit to busy during the summer time....even when going to Alaska its during the winter months.

I’ve been to Yellowstone a few times. There is a book called Death in Yellowstone. It chronicles every death that has happened in the park. Very interesting book if you like history.
I’ve been to Yellowstone during each season. It’s always beautiful. During a visit over Christmas many years ago we went on a ranger walk. Along the way we saw a large ball of ice with hair sticking out of it. The ranger asked what we thought it was. No one could figure it out. He explained that during the winter the bisons breath condenses on it’s beard and freezes. The ice ball keeps getting bigger and heavier until it eventually tears off part of the beard. Hence we end up with a hairy ice ball.
Have you ever thought, how did builders build that bridge?? Mind blown !! Lol. They are not going to burn off legs standing in it digging holes for the posts are they? Just a thought

And we don't do anything to out lines to prevent them from freezing (except for driving south😁). We have a 4 season camper, so they never freeze.
I would love to visit Yellowstone in the snow, but it's expensive if you live on the east coast. It was fun to visit in July last year. But it was crowded. This year I am visiting in June. The weather should be interesting in June. Everything breaks in cold weather. It's never fun with vehicles or RVs or anything. People are so careless around animals. I had to tell a mother to move her kid back because he was too close to a Bison. Just stupid.
