    Great video m8. I have just passed the initial 600 mile run in on my new 2024 Xmax 300 Techmax and it is a fantastic bike. I have owned and put thousands of miles on a couple of Burgamn 400s in the past and this bike is more responsive, more agile, noticeably quicker and if you are not pushing it a lot more economical - I am getting 94mpg (UK) out of mine across 800 miles compared to the Burgmans which averaged about 66mpg (UK). Given the speed limit on our equivalent motorways in the UK is 70mph this bike really does do it all. The only thing it loses out to the Burgman on is leg room. All the best from Wales

      The shorter wheelbase of the Yamaha is better than the Burg legroom

      I beat you on my 1st fillup with mine, 2.86L/100 km (98.8 MPG UK) for 351 km and the Low Fuel light wasn't even On yet. I put only 10.03 liters in the 13 liter tank. I could definitely go near 400 km on a tank. I'm still smooth on the bike and breaking it gently on 2 lane roads but we have hills in my area and went up to 100-110 km/hr several times. I'm in Quebec, Canada and we have only the standard XMAX model in Canada.

      @@richarddevaottien7724 Sorry for the delay in replying, didn't see the notification. Yes I agree, you know what it's like we just want it all 🙂 I also love how much lean angle the Xmax gives you. On corners where I regularly used to grind the centre stand on the Burgervan the Yamaha just seems to laugh and tell you to try harder!!

      @@jeantheriault7783 That's crazy good. I reckon you might see it top 100mpg once it is run in. Mine has now done nearly 1300 miles and is sitting at 95.1mpg and that includes a fair bit of 70mph motorway travel in the mix. Stay safe and keep the rubber side downwards

    I have the 2022 Kymco X-Town 300i ABS which is a direct competitor to that and to me it seems like a lot of wind is hitting your legs and your legs are a bit splayed apart into the wind.

    Another great video I agree x max can do interstate speeds yes but here in the midwest the winds road conditions and semi can make it very unsettling for interstate travel prefer my heavy st 1300 feels much more planted but for normal highway travel no problem x max can handle 60 to 65 all day long I'm sure could go across the country no problem on backroads and highways.I call my x max my 90s bike can do 90 mph and if driven 55 to 60 will get 90 plus mpg that bike still amazes me never expected to get that kind of gas miles great video again keep them coming.

    Important question.. is this scooter able to go faster then 20mph in Massachusetts? Is it considered a motorcycle? Can it go on highways in that state?

    • @slowridersmotovlog201
      @slowridersmotovlog201  20 днів тому

      Yes this scooter runs good in the 80s on the highways. As long as you have a tag and insurance you can ride it anywhere

      @@slowridersmotovlog201 so if the state says to only go 20mph with it, how would I be able to go on the highway with it? Massachusetts says it does not count motorized scooters as motor vehicles

    New to this. Could this bike be driven 100 miles one way on the highway?

  • @gorrdd
    @gorrdd 4 місяці тому +2

    Thanks Dan... the Xmax is a very capable smaller bore machine. It's so capable that it warrants a cruise control accessory option for longer hauls.
    I see you hit 90 again. It's definitely the lower 70 temps that allows that.
    One thing you forgot to mention is the stability on the highway at those speeds. No scrambling on tar snakes or wobble at all.
    Very impressive ride, suspension, and balance for this size scooter. You just can't beat it for the price...
