The best part of this dungeon was getting to the final boss, and everyone in the party who did Hullbreaker praying that we weren't getting another kraken. Thankfully we didn't
I saw the orange tentacles with purple spots and immidietely knew it was gonna be that octopus from tellah's introduction dungeon in ff4 Though i was for a second wondering if the head was gonna be a new model or just a orange kraken
I love the 'WoL's holiday' vibe the dungeons have taken. Like yeah sure inevitably we have to save the world and junk, and sure, Troia wasn't exactly relaxing. But besides fighting Cagnazzo, even Lapis Manalis was just kinda...somewhere the WoL would wind up doing the adventuring thing. Azadaal's was just a genuine 'for adventure's sake' deal, and even if we're here to source our aether it's basically just the WoL on safari. We're actually just *being adventurers* and it's cool after so long of being the warrior of light and savior of the world and all that jazz.
I feel like Aetherfont would have been SO MUCH BETTER if they didn't try to shoehorn it into the Void story. If EW had optional dungeons like ARR and HW this would be one of my picks.
Me realizing that it’s called “Starsbreath” bc the circulation of aether is what keeps all life in Etheirys going and so it seems apt to call the aetherfont “the breath of the star”
This has been my favourite dungeon in a long time! The scenery, the animals, music and bosses are all so good. I’ll never get tired of Flow being reinvented too. The start of the track is just… perfect.
@@Lyu-Phy Is it really? So giving us dyeable gold trimmed would let people make glams fit together just a bit more... but nah. Can't have that

Once the bass drops in it starts sounding very Xenoblade-like. The acoustic guitar and percussion also sound like something a Xenoblade 1 town theme would have haha. Love it, fits the beautiful dungeon.
@@unimpartialobserver I've been playing Final Fantasy since IV on the SNES I'm aware. I'm just saying this arrangement particularly feels very Xenoblade-like despite that. Well that was a really nice and chill song... for about 40 seconds until the motif obsession came in. Can they cut this out already? Evidently they're capable of composing unique pieces since they did it for basically everything in ARR and most things still got it up until late SB.
@@TheManofyesNo, I'm tired of hearing the same 2-4 songs throughout an expansion with nothing to break the monotony. It devalues the emotional weight of the motifs, makes the original songs grating to listen to after just a bit of playtime, and is really just laziness on the part of the composers. Like I said. @@gackybass Since Heavensward, dungeon music has mainly been a variation of the zone they're in. For example both Tower of Babil and Lapis Manalis have a variation of the Garlemald zone theme.
