One time isabelle told me that I needed more fencing, so I took all my fencing down and counted them. I had 817 pieces of fencing. EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTEEN PIECES OF FENCING. 🙃

I’ve spent 200,000 and have a 3 star. I use items from balloons, gifts from villagers, plus buy bulk flowers. I also replant my fruits and pumpkins instead of selling often and I think it helps up my image. I don’t really craft furniture much.
This man got 5 stars without spending a single unnecessary bell, meanwhile my island has been stuck on 4 stars for a year now.
Mine has been stuck on 3 stars for like idk from when I got 3 stars too now which I got 3 stars a while AGO! LIKE MORE THEN A YEAR! RAGE

I am stuck at two stars and I can’t figure out how to get passed it
I will try to explain what Isabelle says when she gives these statements:
"Lacking appealing scenery" it means that you don't have enough furniture decorated your island and you don't have enough fencing. Do this make sure you put a lot of furniture all over the island and have more fencing usually I just use fences to make big gardens.
"Landscape has potential" it means that you need to have variety of trees planted (Saplings, Cedar Saplings, Fruit Trees) and a lot and I mean A LOT of flowers planted on the island. This one is hardest one because you really need to plant so many flowers just so that Isabelle is more satisficed and the rating should go up.
It is confusing sometimes and just thought I would clear this up for when Isabelle is a bit harsh on your rating so I hope this helps out.

I had 4 stars but then I somehow went down to three and I was crying for a few months until I finally took care of my OVER ABUNDANCE of flowers and I immediately was back at 4 stars
with the flowers my island made itself 5 star
I always get the "There are to many items laying around" like yeah I know I have a weed garden shut up-
i didn’t even know isabelle could say “Landscape has potential”… i’ve always had fields and fields of flowers lol
Here are tips on how to get a 5 star island for those still struggling:
1. Have 8 Villagers living on your island
2. Have variety of trees planted (Saplings, Cedar Saplings, and Fruit Trees)
3. Have Plenty of flowers planted (seriously Isabelle really wants you to plant to many flowers)
4. Decorate your entire island with Furniture items (I recommend the Floor Light and Streetlamps)
5. Have a lot of fencing around the island (use them for making large flower gardens and fence off your beaches)
And pick up all those dropped items
And don't have too many trees planted.

@@X_Lolly_Z Get her a 2nd switch so she can cause chaos on her own island so that way you don't have to worry about her missing up your island. It sucks because of the island per switch thing, but hey thats the best case scenario.

I had a 5 star island and didn't even realize it, just one day noticed the Lilies of the Valleys growing, and I was so happy! I thought I had a lot more work to do.

The fact you have to buy slingshots feels like they knew you were going to try this challenge and wanted to make it more difficult

Here is an idea for a challenge: try to unlock the KK concert with only ur first 6 villagers

I tried it and it is possible to do that, but you REALLY have to put in a lot of work to boost your rating, since Isabelle does mention you need more villagers living on the island, but as long as you have a lot of decoration, flowers planted, a lot of fencing, and of course planting sapling trees then the ratings will boost up.

I did when I started my island for the first time, I didnt know that you needeed all the villagers to get KK
So from what I tested on my 2nd island, it is possible to have only 6 villagers living on your island and you get a 4 star rating if you do enough decorating on your island (making sure you decorate the entire island), planting so many flowers and having variety of trees (Saplings, Cedar Saplings, and Fruit Trees but not too many). If you do that right you should be able to get a boost rating and you will have KK slider on your island with only 6 villagers. Its a hard one that requires a lot of time and effort, but it is doable.
I had 6 villagers living on the island and when I went to check Isabelle (I did all the decorating) she gave me a 1 star rating. Like WTF?!

I JUST finished completely decorating my island top to bottom today and checked the rating only to have 4 stars because I have too many trees..... Thanks a lot tropicore/junglecore. My island do be kinda sick tho and I don't have to worry about the lily of the valley littering my island

Just an FYI 10 villagers IS NOT REQUIRED for a 5 star island or to unlock terraforming. I only have 9 villagers and have unlocked terraforming and a 5 star island all while keeping blathers in his tent stage! Also amazing video ☺

Isabelle is strict when it comes to having too many trees. Also she does point how your island is "too cluttered" with items laying on the ground so whatever you do DO NOT have so many things on the ground and also make sure you don't cut down too many sapling trees otherwise Isabelle will say how you should "branch out" when improving the environment.

Imagine the struggle of forest, jungle, or woods themed islands 😅 I would be so mad because I couldn’t make it work without lots and lots of trees, vines, weeds, flowers, and glowing moss
I recently restarted. I honestly feel like going through all the things we need to do for 5 stars isn't worth what we recieve. But thats probably just me

Think one of the hardest things is to have a lot of flowers planted, plenty of decoration all over your island, and have a lot of fencing.
I have got 3 five-star island and have not even fished all of them
Just realized I have the exact same island map except the peninsula! Took me days to pick one I liked lol
I remember when I had a bunch of flowers that got in the way so when I cleaned them up Isabelle said “ you can a never have to many flowers”. Needless to say I threw my switch onto my pillow(not broken) and I was done for the day

Why Weeds Are Bad:
1. Not Enough Money
The " Weed " doesn't give enough money so no need to sell it.
2. It Looks Ugly
I don't know about you, but the weeds look ugly on islands idk why.
3. Waste Of Space
Weeds take up to much space on the island that's it's stupid.
4. It's Useless
Overall, The Weed is useless and all it does is clutter your island...

I busted out laughing at the "EW" when the campsite villager was revealed to be Olaf.
I have a favorite type of Breath of the Wild video, where players show how to glitch travel, bomb travel, physics exploit travel, glitch area skip. They explain how damage is multiplied how defense is multiplied, how to keep your weapons from wearing. Your videos feel like the ACNH equivalent of these, and I appreciate them. Subscribing.

Ooo you could do a challenge that you start with like a stick or a rock and try to trade your way to something really expensive like Raymond or something like that (with friends or nookazon), you see these challenges all the time where they start with like sunglasses and end with a Tesla or a house, you should try this in game!

I have a challenge idea: what if you tried to get all hha trophies but you can only have the first house upgrade and can’t buy any furniture, you can only craft/or use what is given to you
Fill up the big and fish sections of an empty museum from scratch, but if you miss a bug or fish you have to restart

When you shovel don’t use the shovel to cover the hole just press y and your character will kick some dirt on it to cover it instead. Saves you from breaking your shovel faster.
