I like how everyone pitched in.
What keeps the soil in the top tiers? Will they empty as the dirt washes out the open bottoms into the lower tiers as the dirt levels itself over time?

Martin W thank you! We just we and picked the soil in, the boxes do not have bottoms. We typically add more soil/compost every Spring anyways so I think it should be fine.

I meant to say we "wet" the soil and "packed" it in! Haha
