Thank you for sharing your cancer journey! After you go through it you realize every month is Breast Cancer awareness month, mammograms are a must! The retreat sounds wonderful, I hope to someday attend one. Happy Belated Birthday Chris🎉
Thank you so much for sharing your stories. I really appreciate you telling people to be their own advocates. You know your body, if something isn’t right keep pushing. Good for you switching doctors, you need to be with a team that treats you as a person.
I had breast cancer at 38. We had no family history and I had 2 tumors in the left breast and ended up with a bilateral mastectomy. Invasive ductal. I'm glad you are sharing this for all the others out there. Especially younger women who have to sometimes really need help to get diagnosed. I'm also from Wisconsin born in Stevens Point. I also love cross stitch. I'm now living in Georgia. I'm now almost 77 and and it's been almost 40 years. I've been blessed to see my children grow up and have grandchildren most have grown now.
Thank you for sharing your stories and always reminding women to get their boobs checked. It’s so important. I enjoyed watching the video. I had a good laugh when Walter knocked over the camera. He’s so cute 🥰
I LOVED your feature length video! Keep em coming😊. Jamie omg girl all your artistic endeavors are so fun to watch!! Have you heard of Sarafina fiber arts? She sells awesome needle felting animal kits, she is also on youtube. I love her videos. I adore Teresa Kogut, I have a few of her charts (with good intentions of starting them as soon as i get them lol none are started to date😅) Erica if you lived closer I would totally give you a dollhouse. I bough two kits and havent even made them. They are gonna be big. Every time the dollhouse comes up lol i feel bad for ya Erica. Not gonna lie though I do love hearing Jaime talk about it since its also one of my side hobbies. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing each of your medical journeys, i personally have not dealt with that issue to date, but I know your openness is helping someone and that is just wonderful!! Thanks for shouting us out. ❤ btw Erica Im the middle child my older brother was the golden child😂 so i feel for ya😊 Happy stitching!
I am going to HAVE to check out Sarafina fiber arts! Thank you for the suggestion! If you ever get a chance to attend a retreat with Teresa, do it! She also has Whatcha painting Wednesday where she paints live on UA-cam at 12 central time on Wednesdays. She’s an inspiration to watch and listen to. Erica will for sure end up with a doll house, I am sure of it.😆
Ive been meaning to catch her lives. Teresa is a crossstitch wonder woman i swear. That woman is a major inspiration for me. Yes sarafina videos are so fun! Also, forgot to mention Bentley house minis channel, she is a miniaturist. Her work is so cool, she made a miniature Addams family home❤. She is working on a few projects now, one being the house from Beetlejuice😅

I’m a 15 year breast cancer survivor and yes very scary. Mine was diagnosed with mammogram and everything went very quickly for me. Love your floss tube thank you
Thank you for sharing your stories ladies! What an inspiration you all are! The retreat at Primitive Gathering sounds amazing! It’s on my bucket list to visit or even go to a retreat there!
OK, Uncle. I called to schedule my mammogram. Your stories encouraged me to not be afraid. I worked in the health care field for 32 years and learning to be my own advocate really was important when it came to having my brain tumor! I had a really rude doctor but I stood up and it worked out. You girls rock, and yay Walter!
Thank you for sharing your stories. Sure enjoy what you guys are working on and all the plans and goodies you got. Thanks for sharing. Walter is adorable
Thanks for sharing your journey with breast cancer. One of my best friends had breast cancer when she was 38. It ran in her family. She had a mastectomy at the time and wanted to have a mastectomy on her second breast. Back in those days (we’re 71) you had to fight the insurance company to have that done. She won and had it removed. I remember going to the doctor with her to have the drain checked. She’s cancer free after all these years which is amazing. I hope the three of you have the same experience and remain cancer free as well. I just had my mammogram in September and I’m good to go. Jaymie your hair looks good. Keep working with it. I enjoyed seeing all of your projects and kits. You all have been very busy.
Fantastic video ladies!!! I am so glad I jumped over to catch up on watching your videos! It has been a sheer pleasure to get to know you! Love your stitching and your stories of your personal triumphs through your cancer journeys has been inspirational. It was also interesting to learn about the cataract surgery and how much better you see. That is fascinating. Just love hearing about your stitching at Primitive Gatherings!!! Thank you so so much for all the inspiration!! Love you ladies so much!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
Love your videos. Try Rowe Cassa shampoo. You have to order it on line. After I had Covid I listed lots of hair, so I used there hair spritzer and shampoo. My hair came back thick and curly. My beautician can’t get over how my hair is doing.
Thank you for sharing each of your journeys. I love watching your adventures of cross stitch! Can you tell me where you got the Teresa Kogut zipper pouches please? Thanks! Can’t wait for your next floss tube
Thank you! The project bags using Teresa’s fabric were made by DotDotGoose. She has an Etsy shop. The smaller bag of her watercolor scarecrow, I won during her raffle giveaway at the retreat. I think she sells her pouches on her (Teresa’s) Etsy shop.
Thank you for your stories, it's important to know things are not always what the average person goes through. You are truly all so lovely, I really enjoy your videos. I was enabled as well to buy the box that Brenda and Laura showed. I am so glad you mentioned what the piece of wood was for I never would have figured it out😂
First time catching your channel. Thank you for sharing your breast cancer stories. I love wool applique and I am also in the wool box. You're going to love the projects. At first I thought you were all sisters.
Thank you all for sharing your stories. I so remember that same feeling. They called me back for another mammogram and then an ultra sound and afterwards when I asked the technician if I should get dressed now she said "not just yet". I knew at that point it was something serious. The dr came in and did a biopsy right then. A few days later, Stage 1 breast cancer.
Just had my 6 month follow-up and ultrasound, and the little sucker they had their eye on didn’t grow. Now to get it done again in 6 months… 😅 Thanks for another great flosstube!
Jamie, your hair is super cute! Let us know what tips you get to help growth. Abraxane is the taxol alternative, but it had the same affect on me as taxol-rash city.
First of all I love your tee shirt Jamie that you wore in the pictures at the beginning. I was lucky, I had breast cancer in my right side and had three options, lumpectomy, radiation or mastectomy. I asked the doctor if it were his wife what would he have her do and he said mastectomy so I did. I have lynch syndrome and one of our daughters has it also which is different from the gene you three have. She has chosen to have a double mastectomy as soon as possible. Our younger daughter doesn’t have the and she ended up with a very aggressive form of breast cancer and she’s had to have 2 surgeries since it was found in a few lymph nodes as well. She will be having the other mastectomy as soon as she can. She sees an oncologist in Madison and that’s where her surgery was done. She had 20 weeks of a strong chemo, including what they call the red devil and 6 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week in Rockford, Il. She has kept a great attitude through the whole thing as did I. I had reconstructive surgery so I have my 18 year old boobs back and I’m 76! I could have flung the old ones over my shoulder so I was glad to get rid of them. I think I’m going to have to get that tee shirt for us both and wear it proudly! I’m glad I found you you tube channel. I embroider but I do t cross stitch but it’s fun to watch you three. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing many more videos!
Thank you so much and I'm so happy you are all doing well. I recently learned about lynch syndrome. It was something I had never heard about. That is great that your doctor gave you honest feedback to help you make a difficult decision like that. Yes...the red devil is disgusting. Take care ❤️
Great video, girls! How do you find out about the retreats at Primitive Gatherings? I’m local and would love to try to go to one sometime. I’ve seen Cindy’s Flosstubes before and she’s great, too!

Jamie, your hair is super cute! Let us know what tips you get to help growth. Abraxane is the taxol alternative, but it had the same affect on me as taxol-rash city.
Yes! Abraxane. That one was fine for me and was almost a blessing after AC. lol
@@ThePinkStitchers gosh, not me. AC was a breeze, comparatively. Ugh! Paclitaxel is now on my list of allergens.
