Saw the whole concert online and seemed to be an amalgamation of two shows! Unfortunately I've never had the privilege of seeing them live. I've discovered their music recently and have spent many an hour searching online and watching or listening to everything I can! I'm so glad I'm living now and can appreciate just how mega they were! All those wasted years!!!
possibly the most sincere U.S. rock band with genuine joy on stage - what other band seems this much like family . . . oh - and they've never broken up or changed members. . .or taken extended years off. I'm going to go get my Kiss records out right now
Agreed, I've seen them twice But the second time was REALLY special for my wife and I. It was our 2 kids first concert (my son was about 5, and my daughter was about 9) and by dumb luck we got FRONT ROW SEATS right in front of Rick. We got like 9 picks, this was in 05, and CT are just an AMAZING band.
Awh man, I hear Rick doing those slides on the lowest neck of that monster and they don't show him doing so. I would have loved to actually see him play that lowest neck.
That's me in the sunglasses holding the Cheap Trick kicks ass in Daytona banner. Great concert and great memories.
As someone born in 2000 I have to say that's an incredible moment to have experienced
I was there as well
'83 to '90 was their prime. Robin's voice was great. And it still is.
I was there. Best of times! And yes, they are that loud!!!!!

Say what you want... one of the most professional bands ever.
Love it. I live in Daytona but was in Indy in 89.
Love it live. Love it loud. Cheap Trick rules.

wonder how much was caught that spring break? ha
@oohindie they did replace tom for a bit. but they are still one of the greatest of all times.
@caseyfanzine how much??
@rewindbttn Most bands are guilty of that, EXCEPT RUSH.
Never wear your own band's shirt on stage. It's tacky.
Rick has always worn Cheap Trick shirts, buttons, hats, sweaters , etc on stage, it's part of his look
Blah, blah, blah.
That is just Rick Neilson for you! He has always been that way for over 40 years. Rick just has that personality to himself!
