What a cool car. In modeling, you would call that “weathering or the weathered look.” But it would be more tempting to me to just take all the parts apart and clean everything up and repaint everything and then put it back together. It wouldn’t be no &100 grand frame off restoration, but, it is what it is, a cool car that just needs to look nicer than that, but that’s my opinion. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
If you watch some of my other videos you will understand that I get what your saying as I love to make old cars look new again but sometimes, with some cars, you just have to embrace the flaws and enjoy them for what they are. Thanks for watching!
Nice patina!
This car just keeps getting better and better.
If it could talk it’d be thanking you!
I feel bad for the car. It's been neglected for decades and definitely deserves better. You'll be a great caretaker of her Rod. Thanks
Nice update. Like your efforts to retain the originality. I'd much rather see cars like that these days than over restored examples.
Thank you!
looks good...i would clear coat the heater box...that really makes em stand out
Nice work. Looks great. What about the cowl seal too?
Thanks, still more work to do...lol
