Magefists would also be a fine option for this build, as they provide 1 to fire skills, which includes corpse explosion as well, so if you're focused on increasing it's radius, you might give them a try.

Fully synergized Bone Armor triggers from the Bone RW are so amazing, you can go AFK in the middle of a pack... Shame, that Enigma is so OP.
Cool build! Did you know magefist's +fire skills adds to corpse explosion? Might be an alternative to trang oul's since you don't profit too much of +2 to amplify damage
I miss my old hcl necro. White wand and still hit 125 fcr. Revive/bone mancer. Beast iron golem, might/conc merc and hitting so hard on bone spear/spirit. PVM/PVP build
Thats a really great necro. I used similar builds back then and its one of the few builds even i liked Enigma on.
A relatively low cost and mostly selffound variant is using White in a drognan shopped want, viper, spirit, magefist for the +1 one to CE or trang gloves, and a combination of jewelry with 20 FCR stats/res (with 30 FCR jewelry Spirit FCR doesnt matter) and as much MF as possible from other gear.
Ofc later Upgrades to arach, Tschako (or a good fcr / +2 Skill rare) and SoJ are possible.
Merc needs Insight and CB Armor for bosses.
2nd Slot is a staff with teleport charges to skip Most of river of flames and some Corners in world Stone.
Can clear CS, Baal and the 85 regions pretty quick and save.
I never used any summons besides Clay Golem and Revived one a bone nec. Revives only with a +Rev staff.
I personally prefer the White runeword,with a good base it can become a pretty beastly wand.

I feel like every single video I watch of you, you drop a Tal armor in it xD The universe is trolling me DB! Nice video man, this character is really interesting I wonder if it would be possible to spec this in a way to farm chaos sanctuary with that insane corpse explosion AoE.
It could easily run chaos, he could have altered a few items for some more res. But honestly, after revives and a merc they're all piled on top of you after a tele, you won't get hit much. This is no way a pit only character.

Making a bone necro in resurrected they are fun just need an inventory full of mana pots to get through a couple zones. Level 45 atm
Get a low level insight for your mercenary, mana problem solved
If a 2os wand with +Spear, +Revive & +Iron Golem (or Decrep) can be found, you can basically put every single skill point into the Bone tree without losing anything of value by making a White Wand RW, easily the best Necro bone weapon.
Agreed if you can get the base..100% agree tho

Fire Golem, Mages, Lower Resist and Corpse Explosion is actually an amazing build too. Fire golem is useful in different builds.

If I may make a build suggestion for you to try as I think it could be improved...
a poison Nova necro is much stronger and better for farming pits. Something to try.
Skills:
Max poison Nova and synergies
1 point into revive
1 point skele mastery (optional)
1 point golem mastery
1 point Summon Resis (optional but helps golem and revives)
Max Iron golem (for thorns aura and life since it will be a insight golem) also helps your revives do damage from the thorns aura.
1 point in amp damage curse. (No need for lower resis with infinity merc)
Rest into corpse explosion at lvl 91 I have 10 points into it (at 12yrd it’s almost full screen so maxing it isn’t useful IMO)
Merc has infinity to maximize poison and corpse explosion damage.
You don’t need the revives too much on players 3 since poison Nova kills so fast even without Dweb but for other area it helps.
Gear is your preference to FCR/FHR BP. I like 125 for faster novas and spirit for FHR. I use all MF charms and I run pits faster than a pit zerker with 400MF. If you haven’t tried a poison Nova in pits your seriously missing out. LR is optional as well but I think conviction is enough. Even with a wizzy/Trang’s/arachnid and spirit I get 125fcr easily with a MF crafted amulet. Trang’s gloves is a MUST! The 25% poison damage is huge. I highly suggest this build, poison Nova does more damage as a killing spell and less points needed so you can really diversify you build using poison as your attack spell over bonespear. Try it, I’m sure you will like it.
Causatum does he? I thought he said in his stream that he has never tired a poison Nova necro before. That’s the main reason I suggested it since he never tried it and it’s much more effective in the pits than his current build.
I'm familair with the build concept of poison I just don't have a lot of experience with the char class. I plan on covering all the builds. Bone, summon, uber based summon, and poison. Just started with this build first
Also infinity helps reduce fire lite and cold res but not psn. Only lr reduces psn. But conviction would boost corpse explosion significantly tho
Dbrunski125 really? I didn’t know infinity doesn’t help with poison skills. That impresses me more with the skill than since I kill just fine without the -resistance. Amp + conviction does make everything die with 1 pop and I revive the rest. I’ve tried both builds, bonespear with synergies and poison Nova. Both kill effectively but I feel poison is the better skill for farming pits. 1-3 novas kills the minions and my merc usually 1-2 shots the unique monsters. Most times pooping isn’t needed but I use it for the denser spawn packs. I do suggest trying poison Nova as it is a fun skill and a lazy skill since no aiming is involved. You could look at chat more since it’s a build that doesn’t require much effort or attention to use.
Dbrunski125 Just for fun I wanna try making my iron golem from a beast axe while running summoner build and perhaps merc with might and concentration (does the bug happen only with a golem with concentration?) and necro casting decrept while holding a Ice bow or some useful aura lol.

finally a nice solid build guide :) i just have a question: how can you add skillpoints above 24? if i try to add more points into one skill it says "skill is already at maximum level, which is lvl 24". im on solo self found offline mode.
He doesn't. You can only put a max of 20 pts, all the rest were because of +skill bonus points (specific skills, all necro skills or a necro skill tree such as poison & bone).
You may have already 4 bonus skill points, thats why you see 24 as max, but in reality you have 20 + bonus. (if the amount you see is in colour blue it's because of this)

Also, if you decide to farm Chaos Sanctuary (PnB Necros are great at it) another fun Merc setup is a Lawbringer A3 Cold Merc (along an Insight Iron Golem) with FCR gear, literally nothing is going to be able to move and you can just blow everything up,

I have a question which is unrelated to the content of the video. Do you think LK is worth it on battlenet for finding high runes?
I have not played D2 for years and your videos made me play the game again. I made a ladder sorc and she has poor gear, like reaaally poor gear - 0 uniques. Farming Travincal will definitely not be efficient.
Should I stick to mass killing cows/other high density areas or LK is the better option?
High density mass killing in high player count games and opening poppables is your best bet on battlent. Single player is where LK and trav shine.

Necromancer is my fav PvM class due to the full screen clear effect of CE and the impact that it has on my mood :D. Will make this build once I get my hands on an Enigma.

I have been doing LK on battle.net along with countess, Andy, and meph for maybe around 300 times. I have found less than 30 total runes from crap to okay. Best I have found is an um, two puls, maybe 2 or 3 lems. I honestly do not think it is worth it at all, but it's part of the run.

Whats the deal with the golems?
Insight Iron golem or so, whats the diffrence between Iron and Clay golems?
You can make an iron golem out of an insight and keep the meditation mana aura. Golem will follow you from game to game until he dies. It's a method of keeping the meditation aura on your merc while at the same time equipping your merc with a more powerful weapon like infinity to get the conviction aura to boost ce dmg. I just went with clay golem because it's a little more budget.

Is there some type of hero editor you can use on plugy or did you farm Uber’s for the torches. I was hoping to find one compatible with plugy because I don’t wanna farm the keys lol
Also Chain of Honor is also a good alternative armor to Enigma and also it has +2 to skills and +65 to resistances which will be good for farming the Chaos Sanctuary as well but it is still an expensive armor like Enigma due to the Ber rune being required.
Nah summons running free sucks. U need enigma for summon regroups. Just my opinion

Ive noticed that mobs drop low lvl items (like Healing Potion) when you kill them with coprse explosion, that happen on the assassin too.
Its just the potions or it really affect magic find %?

Does amp work with spear/spirit?
Just me or is Amp Damage a waste of time in the pit? Everything pops in 1-2 explosions anyway.

@@Dbrunski125 Homunc is better than Spirit in almost every situations imo. Idk what's wrong with Shako though. I mean you'll get more damage out of a 2/20 Rare Circlet or 3/20 blue Coronet but if the point is purely MFing, Shako is the way to go.
Zergal00 summed it up pretty well, and a circlet can help get your fcr so you don't need spirit.
Spirit too good to not use imho :p
Recommending cheaper armor "Bone" is kinda strange recommendation.... Vipermagi and Stealth any day over Bone.
I'd say it depends on your gear. If you dont have enigma prob no point to aim for higher then 75 fcr imo. Really easy to hit 75 fcr with trangs hoto and spirit. Again depends on if your using necro head etc. I can agree with viper maji as a choice. Stealth over bone in hell? Idk. 2 skills 30 res and 100 to 150 mana better then 25 fcr 25 frw and 25 fhr imo.

I believe slow down caps out at a certain point in hell I don't know the exact amount tho. decrep and clay golem might be enough.

This is the best class to fight against monsters and grand bosses, the immunes to magic are very rare, but if you meet monster with magic immune don't worry corpse of explosion will solve the problem. For duels is the best bone spirit + prison does a fatastic job against players. Real master of this game is Bonemancer.

Why not "white" or "arm of king leo" the white is for sure many x better than Hoto.
Firing bone spear and bone spirit is no fun (straight comparison to sorc, both animations and damage are another different league with sorc, also that lovely teleport vs enigma); also having summons to play the game for you is boring; using prison to trap all mobs makes me feel sorry for them (hey, at least give them a chance to kill you ;) ) The most enjoyable thing about necro is bombing corpses with full volume :D

You dont need nearly enough of defensive atributes to farm efficiently at Hell as necro. Thats a PvM necro so you should focus on stacking as much MF and GF and possible. Boots are the poorest choice, also 2x soj and arach is a complet overkill. Rings replaces into 10 FCR MF / GF, maybe some stats/ress rings and gloves switched for Chancies.. +2 to curses is completly meaningless, you can cover whole screan within 2 casts anyway.
Is not his fault all his builds use enigma lol. unless ur using a sorceress you have to use enigma!

Why not infinity on merc and insight iron golem? The conv aura will boost CE damage since it does 50% fire damage.

To be honest, summon/corpse explosion works better, i don't even need to merc can instant kill a mob and just explode from there

Tals armor is not what it used to be.. unfortunately.
what about leveling?
With the PlugY mod you can reset the skills and attributes any time. Means you can play the character up to a decent level with one build, then reset it for new builds. Or if you have the gear ready (in PlugY it usually is the case) you can even change the build completely for certain areas, then back afterwards. For example summoner most of the time, reset for bone spear for the maggots and the arcane sanctuary, back to summons for Duriel.

When you say 'expensive' and 'afford' are you just talking about the time cost of finding the items, or are you buying them off people?
Finding.
The higher runes drop less frequently, making them more rare. Often times, you'd want to build a character specifically for rune farming Lower Kurast in Hell - higher player setting generally means more rune drops.
Once you can make the higher-end rune words, then you can make the more powerful gear.

@@Dbrunski125 Depends what mode you play too, for HC i never use Iron Golem simlply because i love being able to recast my golem to scout and the benefits versus investment ratio of using Infinity on a Necro isn't great if you're playing ladder, might as well trade these Ber runes for something more impactful (at least at the beginning of it).

I honestly don't agree with your guide. I've been playing Necros forever and tried pretty much every PVM variations of it, i'm currently lvl 92 on East HCL playing casually, for what's worth. First, Max block isn't worth it even for Hardcore since what's the most dangerous to Necro is stuff like souls who do unblockable damage (you can easily control Dolls by Golem Scouting then trapping them in Bone Prison, so they'll never touch you), and its better to have enough health to simply soak these hits as you have Bone Armor to soak physical damage anyway. Secondly, Revives aren't worth it, they require way too many points to unlock specially if you farm the Pit since everything there is so weak and have no interesting features (unlike Urdar's with Crushing Blows for example) and even just as meatshields they aren't worth it because you have access to the best crowd control ability in the game (when used properly) : Bone prison. Skipping Decrep is also a mistake, specially in HC, the radius isn't great but with enough +skills you can still catch entire elite packs in it with a single cast and it will allow you to control the packs so much easier from having them heavily slowed (specially if you also run with an Holy Freeze merc) and will make sure your Merc will be able to tank virtually anything and finally, putting more than one points in Corpse Explosion is complete and utter waste. The radius just doesn't scale enough for it to matter, Corpse Explosion isn't great because of the initial hit it does but for the chain reactions it creates, and you get more than enough radius from that from gear +skills.
Just to be clear, i don't mean to hate or anything, i guess your build is a lot more beginner friendly than how i play and that was most likely the point of it, but my point is just that when you start to master the class more, a lot of crutches like revives aren't necessary imho, that's all).

Meh. Not impressed with the build. Why not just use a beast and run at 75 fcr? Insight the golem and bo him for life. Enigma will reposition. Merc uses infinity and you can tele all main bosses in act 1 to 5. Farming pits: I'd rather committ suicide. Additionally, pumping all points into summons and summon synergies is all you need. You act as the director and just corpse explode and amp as your minions work for you
Because then it's not a bone necro imo. Solid points tho. Thats why I am not a big fan of pvm bone necros. I actually just released a beast corpse explosion build where you amp and merc gets first kill and then you corpse explode the room. It's a little niche focused as well that build (pits and at) but with a few gear tweaks you could farm every where as well. Thanks for watching tho.
