About Gold Shaw Farm: Gold Shaw Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. Our dream is that someday, we can transform our 150+ acre parcel of land into a regenerative and productive homestead and farm. - Розваги
OMG Prince works well being the son of the Boss cow ❤
kinda adorable how Baby Bea is so attached to you.
To think that she was kind of scared of him for a while and now she's a little cuddle cow. So cute!
You should definitely build the dome. Weird chicken coop for weird chickens.
See I'm just worried they'll be stressed being that visible
If it doesn't have dark glass/plastic wall sections... he could black some out himself.
and won´t it get too hot inside the dome?
I really like the name Birdie. I feel like it fits with the other B girls for being an older name that's becoming popular again. Glad to see everyone is doing so well! 😊
Your cattle herd is growing fast. 👍 Who knew that you, a city slicker, would be this awesome at managing his own cattle herd. 🥰 Way to go Morgan‼️
I've assisted with two calves. Okay, I watched as the cow did all the work. Newborn of any mammal are adorable!
Except for humans 😂 newborn people babies are so ugly! Not cute right away for sure.
As adorable as ur profile pickture😅😊
Whatever you build for your weird chicken, make it a bigger area for them. Maybe some grass to live on. Love all the new baby calves on the farm.
A dome for the weird chickens is a great idea, Morgan.
Toby and Abby look real spiffy after their spring grooming.
It's great that the new calves are so healthy.
The newest calf is especially cute with all this energy. The baby calves are my favorite, but looking forward to the baby birds and the piggies.
Two boys and two girls so far for this calving season. Not bad at all. Belle is a great name for Ariel's daughter. But now that you've got another little heifer I'm still on Team Buttercup. Thanks for letting us be a part of naming these little ones. Even if you choose something else it's still a lot of fun. Here's another suggestion. I know you do dead rock stars for your little bull calves, who are mostly going to be steers. But for your white Charolais how about a naming theme for bull calves/steers of dead Classical composers. You know, diversify a bit. As an aside, I love the eclectic choice of background music you do on the channel and you aren't afraid of using classical/art music. So maybe some love for the dead composers of said music? I could really see a little Wolfgang Mozart or Claude Debussy in your cowyard!
Yaaay im super excited you took my suggestion and named her Belle!! Guess ill have a favorite cow forever now 😂🎉
Yeah, you and at least 25 others.
Babybel the laughing cow 😂
That is really cute, I liked the name Buffy but “ Babybel” is adorable. 😊
Babybel! Love it!
Make the company buy the rights!!!!! Fir babybel
Yep, you caught her mid birth, lol, another two beautiful and adorable babies. Can't believe the water for the cattle is still freezing over. So how do you think the birds are escaping the hoop house, you didn't say. Abby and Toby do look so bright white, your groomer does a wonderful job. Well looks like all is well at Gold Shaw Farm, thanks Morgan for taking us along.🐄🐕🐓🦆🐣❤️👍
Thank you for naming new calf Prince. I’m born and raised in Minneapolis. I never saw Prince but I have met someone that knew him and I know people that had met him.
I saw Prince in Manchester uk 🇬🇧 he was amazing 👏 🤩 ❤️
Almost as if the ducks heard Morgan say last year, that they won’t be a major part of his business anymore, and they now try to prove him otherwise… - Duck eggs everywhere.
Now is there a problem with the goose eggs? Maybe they miss an important nutrient? Or are there just good years and bad years, like every other year? - One would have assumed that the big reduction in numbers / culling of the flock, would motivate nature to fill the gaps? Apparently not. - Or maybe it’s the nesting situation, that they feel under stress / not save enough in the open space of the hoop coop and want more natural cover? - There’s a reason the special hen house got frequented so much by chicken and ducks. - Maybe create some smaller rooms - maybe even having a lower roof is the trick?
I have no idea what I’m talking about. Someone with Goose experience should comment.
Geese do like a protected corner just like you see there they prefer it a bit hidden
Congrats on the new calves Morgan! Love seeing Abby and Toby all white and fluffy. A geodesic dome seems apt for the weird chickens, but I think you'll want to be able to stand up while cleaning and the chickens will want roosts high up for the night. Maybe a mini hoop coop of roughly the shape and size of an old VW bus would be more practical.
Cluckminster Fuller Dome
I'm glad you finally got to witness one! Our Dexter cow Blossom had a heifer calf last September and I was lucky enough to be there.
Wow, amazing how there was room to house that calf inside the mom. 🐮🐂
❤🎉 Baby Broomhilda!!!! 🎉❤ Ok Prince is adorable too. But still, Broomhilda is a cool name, lol.
Billie Burke the good witch from “Wizard of Oz”, Buttercup “The Princess Bride”, Beverly D’Angelo, Biscuit.
I love belle's name because Babybell is a cheese company inn the UK that make tiny wheels of edam cheese for pack lunches and such... it brought back so much nostalgia hearing you call her baby belle.
Dorothy USA has babybel cheese too made in factory in state of Kentucky & other locations too. I read the parent company for Babybel is in N France. I did not know UK had the tiny cheeses for kids lunches too. I thought it was just a U.S. thing until I saw your comment. Cool knowing we have that in common 🙂
@@776alpha677beta I didn’t know it was outside of Europe. My bad :)
We eat Baby Bell in Germany as well😅
Boy do those cows trust you now, letting you touch their new calves. Kudos!!
Wow, jumping and running around shortly after being born. Crazy and funny at the same time 😄
Baby cows just make my heart smile.
It gives us a good mooed.
Aww, so much cuteness! That last calf seems the most naturally tame and trusting. ❤ And Toby and Abby are looking majestic.
The dome will kill the chickens, as in sunlight it will become a hot house the way that you envision it.
I thought he meant a dome of chicken wire.
Really happy for you, Morgan. So cool to see all the calves running around.
New calf name could be Blanche Devereaux, From Golden Girls of course
That's the name we wanted for Amand HugNKiss 's baby. But they they named her Beatrice Potter. Maybe Amanda's next heifer.
Oooo I love this suggestion!!! Come on Morgan use this one!!!
I LOVE Highland cows, I Love the way you name them & yet I cannot reconcile (in my heart and mind) how one stays compassionate & yet unsentimental about the males going to slaughter.
He wasn't unsentimental about it with the first bull, quite the opposite I thought, plus, very respectful of the animal about it. I think it's the best way to do it. Treat each animal as if it would stay there for their whole natural life and the dead rockstars will all just have one bad day (or better, one bad second).
I know better today than I did yesterday as i attended the live last night. Watching this one before lunch.
Me too, every first Wednesday of the month.
Yup, I made the same mistake with the first one, so I decided I better wait for a while before I watched this one .
@@Tea-nOpals yea, yesterday I sat down during my lunch break to eat and watch the episode. I was.... less than enthusiastic about munching down on my lunch yesterday.
I love seeing Abby & Toby together these days. She seems to be maturing into a lovely little sister❤ I think a geo-home would be awesome for the weird chickens!! It would help keep them warm on winter days! & So cool that you caught such a special moment. AND what I call the drunksies. That time when a newborn is trying to get their legs. It's such a sweet moment of life. Spring on a farm💞
That birthing sequence was special. Hitting the ground head first is a real wake up call. Welcome to Gold Shaw Farm newby. 💛
Geodesic dome would make a cool weird chicken coop.❤
Belle is the fist name that crossed my mind, but I thought you would not choose it because you have Annabelle. I had the same idea with the Disney team... I love that you have chosen this name 💚
Yayyy I was one of the ones who recommended Prince for the steer 😆
Morgan, I have been following you and Allison for a few years now and am amazed at how far ya'll have come. Congratulations on your new calves. Your animals all look so healthy and happy. The fluffy white farm dogs look so pretty. Pablo is so funny. Hopefully, Astrid and Amelia warm up to you.
Adorable calves. You need to bank the name Meatloaf 😜
Beautiful precious calves
GEO DOME!! Call it thunderdome and hatch a Tina Turner weirdo post haste! We DO need another hero!
PLEASE MORGAN - BUILD A DOME! BUILD A DOME!
And bring a camera. I’m already making popcorn!
I am all in on this plan. A golden Polish or Houdan chicken would be the perfect Tina...
It's going to be really hot in the summertime in that dome
Can't we just get beyond thunderdome?
Building domes is great fun, but definitely a group effort. Fantastic idea though!
@@paulabrahamse1135😂😂😂
Awesome quirky quackin idea! Would love to see it on our favorite farm. 🌄🐄🐮🦆🪿🦆🦆🪿🪿🪿🐄🐄🐮
Yes, I think you should build the dome house.
It's always amazing to watch life come into this world.
Congratulations on all the new babies in your cattle herd.
Congrats on the new babies !!! 🎉
Question: someday will you make cheese from Baby Belle's milk? LOL
the bull formerly known as Prince
Congrats, Morgan! Love your Scottish Highlands! Awesome to see the birthing shots and first feeding! You have such a wonderful farm! Blessings to you!
the last 30 sec are the best job in the farm
Go for the dome
Thank you for sharing all this exciting farm news! Your cows have been very busy indeed!
How adorable with all these babies being born and running around❣️
When cats roll over to show you their belly, they dont do that so you can rub it. They do this to show you their trust. But this is a very vulnerable position, so if you reach for their belly, then they will swat at you or bite you. Very few cats enjoy belly rubs during this. So Pablo's reaction is actually the usual one. Just know that your cat trusts you so much that they expose their most vulnerable part of their body to you so willingly.
Actually, dogs are kind of the same. Not all dogs take belly rubs well while they lie on the ground for the same reason. The only reason most of them dont snap at you is because they are social animals and see you as the dominant person. Of course, there are always exceptions.
All seven of mine enjoy belly rubs. But that is because they have received them since birth So they're used to them. The only one I don't even try to do that with is the feral that now lives with us.
Gosh new babies. Love your videos. Hope all the caffies stay healthy. You seem to take wonderful care of them.
I'm glad you finally got to see a calf birth!
I saw someone suggested Buttercup for nameing the baby cow under the previous video, so I'm gonna put that here too, because I really like that name.
All the calves are adorable. How about Betty Grable or Betty Crocker that was suggested in last nights farm meeting.
Congratulations!!! The newest calf is so sweet. Fun to watch them grow-up.
"Sproinging around"
Yes, sproing is the correct verb.
This is gonna be hard to watch but im ready for it
It's even crazier in person.
Alison's garden must grow fabulously large veggies! All the poultry & cattle compost!
Wow, beautiful footage of the birth! Two boys and two girls, how perfect! Almost as perfect as the name Baby Belle. lol
Congratulations on the beautiful new calves!! They are all so adorable!!! ❤❤❤❤
Geodesic dome sounds like total fun! And congrats on all the adorable new additions. So cute!
Morgan "Buckminster" Gold, by all means build the Dome! This was something that was popular in the sixties. Buckminster Fuller designed the dome as a means to housing all. A sound idea.
Your cow did a great job. Congratulations on expanding your herd
It's obviously much easier to form a bond when they're young - though I know you're fond of spending time in the upper paddock - now they're close enough to the house and bird yard to be easily accessible and get used to you more quickly. We have babies everywhere!
Congratulations on your new babies! Thank you for naming Audrey's calf Prince. 🙂
Have a calf/cow named Bunny would be quite funny :D
Looking forward to the cows getting back on pasture.
Admittedly I have picked up Morgan's habit of tapping the air with my food. I think it's him physically expressing it's good, but also maybe more subtlety to make sure any food that drops lands on the plate. Looks silly, but I enjoy it 😅😆
The next steer should be named after Sublime's lead singer Badley Nowell
you need to have one named Barbara! From that tiktok german song meme ;D could make for a fun sound clip whenever you say her name haha
YES!!!!!!! You can call it the Biosphere Dome #3!!!!
Brooklyn, Bianca, Bailey for names Congratulations on your new, healthy, happy babies! It's going to be a fantastic year for you and the farm! Blessings from next door New Hampshire
New calves!! So cute!!
Aww what a great bunch of new baby cafes. All beautiful looking. & Hi.
I needed sunglasses to look at Abby & Toby, they are so bright.
Life is such a miracle, I'll say it again, you're herd is so beautiful!
If you build the geodesic dome, can you paint it all rainbow colors, just like the old jungle gyms some elementary/preschools have? It would be adorable and also provide a nice pop of color to the farm! 😂😊
I can do without pictures of the afterbirth..., but the new babies are adorable!
Absolutely fantastic……soooooo excited for you and Allison..can’t wait to see them all in the pasture.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Annabelle's baby is a strong one!
So precious seeing any baby born ... Congrats GSF
Congratulations on all of the calves. How wonderful. Thank you. May you please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
How adorable!! Congratulations.
Have you watched clarksons farm at all? new season is an absolute tearjerker, being a farmer looks so emotionally tough
I saw a calf being born when I was a child at a relative's farm. I can't remember too much about it but it is still something I'm glad I witnessed.
Love the reverse release of the quicken lol those baby calves are sooo cute. Love the name prince for Audrey's baby boy.
Feeling very paternal now,.
When are we going to get a Toby offspring, I feel like he would be a great dad, would love to see him parenting, showing the kids the tricks of the trade.
Your new watering system is so cool, I love it!!! Also loving all the new life on the farm. Those little calves are so darn cute!!
I love geodesic domes 💚
Congratulations! Capturing the birth is an incredible experience (having babies, too🥰 I have two wonderful sons! 40 & 38) Amazing how the calf knows where to go for milk, little wobbly legs.....💛💚💙
"The Steer formerly known as Prince"
How wonderful ! YOU SURE HAVE A GROUP OF BABIES . Love the farm and the dogs look great. 💕💕
Aaaw!🥰😍 All these babys! They are so adorable 🥰♥️ Well done Ladies 👍🏼👏🏼 and congratulations Morgan! 😍🎉
oh goodness..we built a geo type. every cut was different. i had braces for 30 yrs before finally using them
he Really loves me he never gave up building it birds were in before first snow. birds did much better this year
Deffo go for a weird chicken geo dome. They need somewhere funky to hang out!
Maybe next time can have trail cameras near the winter cow pen so you can see that in real time
Congrats yet again!!! All of the calves are adorable!!!
Gorgeous baby calf ❤
Nice to see new calves.
