The company that actually receives the data is the ones that see it before anyone else and they can do what ever they want with it. It's why Tesla is being sued right now since a disgruntled employee released a bunch of 'private' footage online while announcing to the world they watch it in the office all the time. However it still does not benefit the driver in anyway. Only the company. Some say, "what if you get into an accident that's not your fault and they say you were texting? The camera can prove that wrong." And the simple response to that is, the front facing camera can show if the driver even had time to react or not, as well as other things. The only thing that employee focused cameras do is prove the company that installed them do not trust their employees. At their job, or otherwise, else they would give the employee the option to turn them off or at the very least cover the lens focused on them. Personal privacy is a fundamental part of freedom. You should always fight for freedom.
