Purgatory Canyon 1866: Marching the First 4 Miles

This American Civil War campaigner reenacting event for civilians, infantry, and cavalry will immerse you in what life was like in 1866 Colorado Territory.
Infantry marched 12 miles with full kit - this includes musket and knapsacks. 22 men started the march and only 9 made it to the end.
Event held April 2024 at Picket Wire Corrals near La Junta Colorado
