    Thanks a TON for that kill switch nuggett!!! I have been looking super hard at these. Definitely priced right.

    User Mode doesn't save TC and ABS settings to OFF. THe user1 mode defaults those back on if you shut the bike off. Glad you brought it up. Other reviewers gloss over it and don't explain the nuisance factor.

    Cheers in not griping about the lack of the cruise control. 🙂
    Like the T-7, I bet it is years before you can get one at a local dealer at msrp.
    The local honda/yamaha dealer put metal hard bags on their T-7's (when I FINALLY saw one on the showroom floor) and wanted 14,999.
    /hugs '18 KLR-650 with LeoVince pipe. 😏

    Did Honda say whether it would ever get DCT? Really enthusiastic review, thank you Sir! Greetings from 'The Road Racing Capital of The World', the isle of Man.

    Honestly most of the gripes people bring up don't really bother me a whole lot, I bought the bike as a commuter/light tourer and so far it's been excellent in both regards.
    I can see the shortcomings of the suspension here and there but the on road performance belies the 21 inch front wheel; you sort of float above the road and gently push yourself along to your destination.
    The bikes an absolute peach and I am 100% satisfied with the purchase all things considered.

    Got mine last week and love it. Curious about the Honda side bags. I like how close in to the bike they are but heard someone say they are difficult to close.

    I’ve got about 2 weeks on mine in mixed conditions and this is a great little bike. I do think it’s about 15-20 hp short of where it needs to be but it’s easy to ride well. Very flickable and the TC and ABS on road are 👍 With Honda the little things seem to matter, like self cancellation of signals that you can adjust and easy to use menus! Oh and I had to get heated grips, far better than most bikes

    A very Honda ADV bike. I didn't feel it was under-powered, neither top heavy. A well made machine in my opinion. Can check my test ride. Great video and a very well done one. I like the way that you mentioned the electronics and its problem when turning it off. :) By the way... the cruise control is missing. :) Got my like.

    Nice video. I want to know the ground clearance before and after installing skid plate. I want to grab one, but that’s the major game changer.

    • @cyclenews
      @cyclenews  8 місяців тому

      Standard ground clearance is 8.3 in. Not sure what you lose with the skid plate.

      @@cyclenewsI meant the sump guard. Sorry for the confusion. I think that takes away a bit of ground clearance since the exhaust pipe is one below the other.

    In Norway this bike cost $14 850,19 :-( Well everything is extremely expensive in Norway. Taxes on taxes :-(
    but it will also come as 91.8 HP.

    This hopeless... why u all compare Tenere to Transalp?
    This ANOTHER CATEGORY motorcycle. It should be evident.
    Both great in different roles.

      Yeah, it's more of a Honda vs. Suzuki discussion.

    What I gather from this video, is that it's a fine ADV bike if you don't really ADV. Or you spend $3k to replace the suspension to do ADV riding. Or you could just purchase a Suzuki 800DE which comes with a good fully adjustable suspension. And that's what I did.

    • @RRRRefuelRideRace
      @RRRRefuelRideRace 9 місяців тому +3

      You are right. The suspension is basic on this one and I mentioned it. Can check my test ride video. :) Cheers.

    Just say 10thousand, it's really annoying.
