I’m having that same issue with my motor mounts right now. You didn’t mention that the bottom of the motor mount also only has two holes l, as in where the old one has four. That’s another issue I’m running into with mine at the moment. The reason that extra bolt is there I look on the outside of the frame and there’s a bolt on the bracket to the suspension I might have to do away with it but then I really need that boat. I got a find the old style motor mounts somewhere.
Just but the automan cascadia motor mounts. They are cheaper and the fit perfectly with not problems.
Don't just buy some bolts that are the right size. For motor mounts you need grade 8 bolts.
Francisco una pregunta estoy cambiando un DD15 afuera y poniendo un Serie 60 12.7 mi mecánico tiene problema con el motor mount porque los del DD15 no sirven para el serie 60 tienes una idea tú como hacerle ese cambio espero tu respuesta o talves un video si ya lo as hecho tu gracias amigo ...
I have a 2010 cascadia, and everytime I need replacement parts, it's ALWAYS an updated part to buy. And they're way more expensive. This tells me that the original design was pure shit. Every single damn time. Sensor and all. To hell with Freightliner..
Francisco. The Freightliner dealership said because of the new style motor mount I have to replace the front motor mounts and all the other motor mounts. are they telling me the truth or can they just do the one that is broken and replace the broken one with the new style?
They can just replace the rear ones, it is not necessary to replace to front one

Yes, it is a million miles engine. This specific truck in this video has one million miles on it.
Well they can last up to 1.5 million miles, if you engine is running fine and has one million miles on it I just recommend to inspect it and do a good service to it. Don't rebuilt the engine if the engine is running fine. But if you wish to do it, it is up to you.

Hello brother i have 2011 cascadia i change both front leaf spring ever since i did that my truck wont stop leaning to driver side on slanted road and its bouncing too much doesn’t seems like truck anymore i went to alots of shop no one can find anything wrong with it can u please help i saw ur other video where u change leaf springs can u suggest what could be the problem i have dont alot of alinement every single thing is new on my truck please help thanks

Francisco my truck jerks really bad when i try to accelerate from stop position espically when i try to back up. Feels like my engine transmission is braking off. Is the problem my motor mount?

I mean, cabin mounts.
Open your hood. Set the park brake. Put it in reverse. Give it a little throttle. Watch the moter through the windshield and see if it comes up on the passenger side. If it does. Motor mount

For the new still you have to leave the bolts inside the bracket of the Motor support. But you can try to get the old style under the Automan brand

Can you buy just that inside part instead complete mount?
I am not sure but you can buy aftermarket mount and they fit just like the oems

Francisco you have a tendency of releasing the videos after I go through the problem lol this happen to me 3 weeks ago and my truck was down 1 week and a half for bolts!! One week was wasted after freightliner kept shipping the "correct bolts this time" which they never had. My mechanic called around to a few places here in dfw for those bolts and nobody has them. He then got the specifications of the bolts from freightliner and had them made at a shop here.
how much did this repair cost you here in Dallas?
425 labor I believe plus 90 bucks for custom bolts.
Alex where did you have this bolt made in DFW?
At a fastenal branch right off from Randol mill and 360 but I'm sure other Fastenal's can make you bolts on the spot with the specification if you bring them

How do I know my motor mount is bad? I have a very bad vibration when I hit 55 , 60 mph the whole interior of the truck is shaking, could that a sign of a bad motor mount?

Get your cambers adjusted when your cambers are too far in and too far out it messes up your tires and causes shaking and get another 3 axle alignment after that and you should be good should be a 500 dollar fix
Your mounts would be bad if the truck is idling and you feel it shaking excessively

Dealer's don't want to keep many Parts in stock. They don't want to invest money. They run their places like afflicate internet store. Where there's 0 in stock, and if someone buys an items it ships from suppliers who do packaging and shipping for the store.

I have double spring
Oh, I remember I saw a brand new 2014 back on the days. It had the same issue. The solution was to do a alignment to lift the axle with shims under the lift springs.
But it will depend on the angle of the axle.
It all stinks. You place a truck in the shop for 5 hours job, and you end up waiting for the truck for a week and a half because of poor Parts availability in the so called best country in the world US. To find parts you have to go to about 5+ dealerships. Once I went to one with a list of parts needed 10 different parts and the dealership didn't even have one part in stock. Horrible.. that's how owner operators go bankrupt. 1.5 weeks waiting on a 5 hours repair to be completed.
