The fact that, other than Juno Temple, the only other Ted Lasso cast member who didn't have to audition was Anthony Head. What great insight casting had that he would do this role perfectly.
His audition was “Bleak Expectations” ;-)
Great to see these cast members (I love them all!!) and you are right to say they really are just as important as our main cast members. Everyone works so well together and its fun to see the actors as themselves.
anthony head is a great villain.
i always thought i just couldn’t see him as a bad guy since i’ve only known him as the Watcher, Rupert Giles. but his amazing turn in Ted Lasso convinced me otherwise.

Cool how James Lance plays an obnoxious American coming to England (sound familiar?) in The Canterville Ghost. And...Anthony Heads plays the ghost.
Love love love this series! Amazing Casts! Love the panel and how they play their part! So true that every time you re-watch it there is a new take!!! Love how Harriet plays the Mum and how she shares how she lives her own journey! Beautiful character arc!!! Beautiful interview as usual Scott! Hats off!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Anthony Head plays villians so well. He does the best evil laugh playing Mr Gently Benevolent (the most evil man in the world) in the BBC radio Dickens spoof, Bleak Expectations.

Three views each of the first two seasons and I'm putting it away for a fourth viewing later this summer. It cost me $150 to get "For Your Consideration" disks by Apple but it has been worth it to own it. The 2nd season has Closed Captioning and that really helps you get all the quick puns, mini jokes, and offhand remarks you miss the first few times.
