    The difference between how excited Bojack was when picking Hollyhock up compared to how he couldn't even look at her when dropping her off is absolutely heartbreaking.

    I just love how undercut the painkillers were throughout the season up until this episode. You think it's just a onetime thing related to his stunt accident, but eventually you find out how detrimental it became to his lifestyle. This show is so good at subtle foreshadowing.

    Probably obvious to everyone else, but I just realized when Bojack is talking about Becker in Free Churro, and how he kept giving it a chance because he could see how much better it could be - that’s how everyone in Bokack’s life feels about HIM.

    I sympathize with Bojack. It can be difficult to accept love from others when you're constantly doubting it, but I think he also needs to accept responsibility and be held accountable for his actions. I think Hollyhock made the right decision to go back home after the wild adventure Bojack took her on. But still root for his recovery, it's hard.

    Why in the frick would Princess Carolyn CHOOSE to be a single mom without Ralph? I know they had to cut him from the show because his voice actors contract expired or something, but how would it make sense in the show? Many women end up as single moms and their children turn like crap but she just CHOOSES IT? "im not afraid how hard its gonna be" bitch, its not about you, its whats good for the child.

    • @artistfloor9
      @artistfloor9 3 роки тому +18

      First of all, there are many children who “turn out like crap” despite having 2 parents in their lives, so don’t go putting all the blame on single mothers. Second of all, this is perfectly in line with PC’s characterization. She tries to do everything on her own and does not like accepting help from others. She has wanted to be a mother for a very long time regardless of whether there is a man in the picture.

      My mom raised me and my 3 siblings by herself. It's extremely difficult to raise children and especially by yourself. But it doesn't mean it is automatically terrible to do it by yourself, or that having 2 parents automatically makes it better.
      I have known countless families where 1 of the parents was terrible and had no business raising a child.
      Now I don't think Ralph would be that type of person but it doesn't mean that it would be the right choice to do it with him.
      If 2 people are gonna commit and raise a family together they better be damn serious about each other. You shouldn't do this with someone you aren't confident in. Often having 2 unhappy parents is worse than having 1 happy parent.

      Man, I didn't like that she didn't end up with Ralph but your comment is horrible wrong.
      You don't need two parents. Single moms are not to blame. The only reason being a single mom is difficult is because of the money and time, it have nothing to do with "You need a man in the house" shit.

    Yeah, this season's really taking Todd's character more seriously. I don't remember how old he is, but I know the brain finishes developing at 25 years old, so that's when people are actually supposed to become "adults." But I don't know, adults also have to learn to compromise, and Todd being unable to even consider experimenting with sex, even if it's not for his pleasure but for his partner's, kinda tells me he's got more growing to do. If any asexuals are reading this, tell me if I'm out of line
    Edit: Jesus, what a shitstorm I created lol. Thank you to everyone who sincerely commented something thoughtful and respectful, I now have a better understanding of Todd's perspective in this case. I'm getting the idea I may have offended some aces, so if that's you I apologize. As for the other assholes who saw this as an opportunity to turn into keyboard warriors(you know who you are), I probably replied to you in a way that seems defensive, because I do get defensive when I'm vilified over some bullshit...so, if I was an asshole to you, I'm not sorry.

      Dude, would you ask a gay dude to sleep with a woman? Or vice versa with a straight dude?
      Making compromises in a relationship does not include things like that. If it does then that is an unhealthy one.

    • @code8825
      @code8825 3 роки тому +29

      No, I totally disagree. People shouldn’t have to be pressured into things they don’t want to do, if somebody is expecting sex from another person, that’s their problem, not Todd’s. Some asexuals may be willing to engage with that sort of sexual activity, for others, that is completely over the line and something they have 0 interest in. Both of those things are okay, but it is ESSENTIAL that is explored by the person, at their own pace, free of pressure or coercion. Your sexuality is not something to “compromise” on, in any circumstance. I’m unsure of your sexuality, but let’s assume you’re a straight man, being told that you should try to get fucked in the ass by a man in the idea of “compromise”. Let me be clear: if an asexual person does not want to have sex, attempting to have sex with them is absolutely sexual assault or rape. Imagine it as if somebody you had no interest in sexually (somebody who belonged to a gender presentation you’re not attracted to) attempted to engage in sex with you. This is not something to compromise on, if you don’t want to have sex with somebody, that is 100% okay and that should be your decision.
      Edit: by the way, no hard feelings, I understand it’s something a lot of people don’t know a lot about, and by your “asexuals please let me know if this is wrong” comment at the end, it shows me you probably are just unsure and are trying to figure things out: that’s totally okay, we aren’t born magically understanding everything. But yeah, this is a very bad take, and hopefully looking through the replies you understand why. Much love. Stay safe friend.
