    Awesome stuff mate. Could you do a video on how you figure out when to drop anchor to end up on you’re spot. I’ve been struggling of late to figure it all out.

      Thanks, will keep it in mind for the next vid. Can get a bit tricky with currents and wind.

    Good work mate!
    I'm jealous because I'm stuck up at work at the moment, but thankful I still have an income in these crazy times.
    That snapper was getting my heart going just watching. It took some nice runs. Thanks for all the tips. I might order a few of those 1/6th heads online so true ready and waiting when I get back.

      Order them, they're the bomb! the slow drop gets them going. Thanks for the support.

    I noticed too that you prefer to anchor on top of the reef and cast into the sand. Rather than anchor and burley in the sand and let the wind/current take the trail towards the reef. Both approaches seem to work, with the key being that your baits are always in the sand with reef nearby. Love your videos mate, keep up the good work!

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  4 роки тому +1

      Rohan Quain depends on wind/current direction, both work, as long as burley is covering the contour

    Stunning morning and good fishing. what else can you ask for? Re the Nemesis, any reason you use the Powerbait version rather than the Gulp Alive version (the one in the juice) - ie. is the Powerbait more durable?

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  4 роки тому

      Thor_68 power baits are more durable , but I’ve got the gulps as well. They all work , I used that one because it was already rigged and sitting on the bait table from when I cut it off another rod earlier in the week. If they are feeding they will eat most things

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  4 роки тому

      Oh and the power baits don’t shrivel up and go hard if you leave them out of the juice,. I like to give em a swim in the juice or some scent before use but they work without

      @@Saltfix cheers mate. I haven''t seen anyone using your method of softies on the drop at anchor for snapper before. Seen one or two fishing them at anchor, but always active retrieving in much deeper water. Your channel is a real eye opener. Nice work.

    • @Saltfix
      @Saltfix  4 роки тому

      Walter Clayton I like the long curly tails on the nemisis good action on a slow drop, and sit head down on the bottom with the tail wafting up, but if the snaps are hungry they will hit what ever you put in front of em. I’ve got em on shads, flick baits even a gulps that have been bitten in half, I don’t think they are fusdy
