His true nature shows in the character he portrayed in B & W, he seems like a real genuine lad. Even though he played the Principal’s kid, he didn’t let it get to him.
Blood & water is the best series on Netflix for me. Every character has their own story. And it's the first south african original series and i fell in love with the location it's so beautiful, I wish if I could visit there one day.
Yes Wade with the foundation in his faith! That will take him so far. That genuineness comes across in all of his interviews and also during the season!
Dillion was so right about how well this show displayed a different type of coloured person. It was nice seeing a character that didn’t perpetuate negative stereotypes. ✨

I'm from Durban, when I came to Cape Town I had so much respect for coloureds because now I live with them, j see how they respect and carry themselves
This is one of the best produced series in the whole continent of Africa , very talented actors and actresses. And it's so inspiring knowing that these are South African people , and it shows South African places , places that we live in , it creates such a new experience for us in these spaces, the spaces are redefined , they carry the memory of the series , when you pass in these places you think of the scenes that were taken there . I am really happy with the series and with @Netflix .
Woow bro you doing the most to not only put our beautiful city in the correct perspective but to make a mark.Keep doing what you do and remain as humble as always .KAAPSTAD TOT LAAT TOE.
I think one of the reasons that Blood and Water is doing this segment,is because theres a study that South African productions on Netflix have helped improve tourism in our country. Which is great.
Well done, Dillon! What a weight to carry in representing your community and you did such a good job! 😭💓💓💓💓 What a beautiful insert, Netflix. 🥰 Truly inspiring.
I lovedddd this so much! I would love a video explaining on where each character is from. As someone in the US, I’m understanding that Colored is only a brown skinned person in SA? What are other brown skinned people called in other nations in Africa? While watching the show, I recognized Wade’s different accent, but it’s so cool to see that he is genuinely representing the native SA! Loved this video! Thanks y’all
There are many brown skinned people in SA who do not use the term Coloured, but black. In truth, Coloured was a category used by the Apartheid government to slot people whom it could not slot into native language speakers, i.e black and Asian and mixed speakers of Afrikaans or English. (The excuse used was that it was a mixed race category but it was really about having an administrative category so that the excuse used for controlling other natives namely native reserves (homelands) townships, etc. could be extended to administrative control to other non-whites. e.g a descendant of a Xhosa in the Cape who no longer spoke Xhosa but speaks the in-colony Afrikaans (Dutch) would still have a category to fall into, as would all sorts of Asian and mixed race people. A decade later a seperate category was created for Asians/Indians but of course many genetic Asians still remained in the coloured category after. Asians estimated today to be about 11% of the Coloured group overall and heavily concentrated in Cape Town.) In truth many "Coloureds" have same genetic admixture as many in the "black" category. (e.g. compare David Kau/Dillan Olifant or Kenny Kunene/Gayton McKenzie) But naturally the Coloured cultural category has the center of gravity of mixed race people between Black, Asian and Caucasian with one family being very genetically different from the next. One family looking Indonesian and the next looking African. So more a reference to a *culture* (overwhelmingly Afrikaans-speaking) than a concrete racial category.
Wade is my personal best character in blood and water he's funny, kind and as well said, likable character in the show 🔥🔥😌👌 He makes me wish I could play a particular role in blood and water in the next season 💥💯
The reason why most relate to Dillion’s character “ Wade” is that, that's the majority of us men growing up. Going through fire and storm for that one girl only for her to choose the cooler kid in school and to make it worse the girl won't fully dismiss you, she will just show you just a bit to keep you interested but not enough to belong. High School was the complete ghetto 😂😂😂
This really makes me wanna visit SA!!! So beautiful man! Dillon and Ama actually look good together! I want them to get together so bad on Blood and Water!
