      @jerrywatson. How come you and many other Americans don't know that the first thing you must do to solve your problems is to own your problems?
      If you want to blame your drug problems on China (which is what you appear to do), what's stopping you from blaming your homeless, lack of affordable medical care, gun violence, out of control national debt, etc problems on China? China doesn't have homeless, lack of affordable medical care, gun violence, and out of control national debt problems.
      Instead of asking posters here to solve the US empire's problems, why not try other countries' solutions? Or is the US empire too smart to learn from others?
      You think your problems are everyone's fault except yours. Own your problems, first and foremost.

      Wow. Brilliant. Geopolitical genius here.
      Is America literally forcing IP transfers? Are American firms as a fact of policy stealing trade secrets from the Fortune 500? Are American companies trawling the world seas in roving gangs literally destroying entire ecosystems? Is the US flooding China with opium? Is the US ignoring international claims and creating artificial islands in nation's internationally recognized borders and eezs? Is the US attempting to invade and take over just regular ole sovereign countries to integrate them into America proper? Is the US sucking in global industrial output and international investment to gain enough market share to force geopolitical favor? The last one is literally the only one that the us does, if you use a very "loose" definition of "industry". The US was literally trying to welcome China into the global economic system just like every other country in the world over the last half century... it was China that decided to play afoul and use the system against literally the entire planet to hurt them for its own benefit. China was literally supposed to be the chosen one! It was supposed to win. It was supposed to become great. It was supposed to become the largest economic country in the world. It was supposed to become a newer, bigger Japan. But China decided against it.

That not being enough look at the timing of the meeting, who needs to portray himself as a leader Xi or Biden? Biden has an election ahead but she? He is firmly at the helm of Chinese world and China's power in its all dimensions is being felt all over the world. Yes domestic economy might be facing some challenges, but what about the US? Their economy is in the shambles and dire need to change the cause and China alone has the key to that. The Americans are thinking that China is like the usa but president Xi is a man of integrity as integrity is a prime virtue in China’s 5000 years culture. The world is big enough for both and what he means is that China and the USA can live together as equals. However just as president Xi said, there are only two options, accept each other’s position or continue the confrontation and it is up to the usa. • @williamsteveling8321
      @williamsteveling8321 10 місяців тому +8

      Define "involved". Selling weapons to Russia to use in Ukraine could be considered "involvement". Selling weapons to Iran and Syria could also be considered "involvement". What's been going on in Xinjiang could also be looked at somewhat askance. But perhaps you mean applying pressure via military and economic approaches. Like, I don't know, targeting specific countries in their region for economic embargos, using fishing grounds they don't have a right to, building out islands, publishing maps which just randomly change borders with their neighbors... The list goes on.
      Don't misconstrue this with a claim of the US holding the moral high ground, but China isn't exactly a paragon of enlightenment and pacifism. They don't have the logistics and C&C structure for projecting power at the moment, but they're working on it. We built ours after getting burned by two world wars and (generally) haven't used it for acquisitions. China wanting a strong defense after the last century makes sense, but I submit no one in their region is a threat (except maybe India to a limited degree). And frankly, India isn't really interested in much more than a stable border and defined territorial agreements.
      As for "need"... Both nations are uniquely capable of self-sufficiency. Both have materials shortages that can be worked around, and both have trading partners that can fill the gaps. "Need" is relative. Are both stronger if there's a good relationship? Obviously yes. But trust is earned, and these CEOs are far too eager given what's happening in China currently.

The development of China is mind blowing. But when I came back to the USA, I realized that the USA are 20-30 years behind China. Why? Because gullible Americans have been manipulated by the media and politicians for decades and they lost competition. The most important reason is they don’t want to learn China. If they know Chinese, at least they can do their own research. But they are too lazy or proud to do so.
      China made 169 million trips to overseas, about half of the America population. If they are under dictatorship, why would they go back to China. Lol, "we turn our backs and there is another balloon and a military base in Cuba". Yes, that balloon was very dangerous indeed and the so called military base in Cuba was only two people and a dog but it was a very dangerous dog.
    But now let's see what we can do even without them turning their back - constantly provoke them by arming Taiwan and changing our stance on the issue twice a day, sending our warships to their shores (to protect freedom of navigation and promote democracy, of course), surrounding them with military bases and building military alliances to contain the "hostile" Chinese who dare expand their country so close to our warships and military bases, promoting regime change and color revolutions in whatever places don't play to our tunes and this is just the tip of the iceberg.
    The fake news, corrupt media and the political elites, oblivious to the voice of the ordinary American, have made this once great country the most hated country in the world and are pushing us closer and closer to the abyss. Out of control spending leading to high inflation and unsustainable levels of debt, an aggressive, militaristic and short sighted foreign policy turning more and more countries against us, crumbling infrastructure, out of control crime, mass murder, drug addiction and homelessness, population with very high levels of obesity and chronic diseases , health care that is designed to keep us sick so that big pharma can profit on our backs, I can keep going on and on....

    At 2:22 when ahe talks about how Xi said China isn't a threat China is peaceful but she has a hard time believing it based in their actions. I wonder if there is a similar counterpart in China talking about how America says it's peaceful but then America only tends to get involved in other countries wars when resources we want are ablento be grabbed. Also I wonder if they have a nuclear bomb counter to count how many times a country bombed another country using nuclear weapons.

      Also I think any other country would have used a nuclear bomb if they developed it in time. If I remember correctly Germany was pretty close to developing one at the same time USA did.
      Anyhow, I still wonder if there is a Chinese counterpart that is talking to their media companies about how America is the only country to use a nuclear bomb and did it twice and talking about other resource grab wars America takes part in but opts to not help other countries like Burma because they don't have resources we currently need.
