China now invests heavily in many countries in the world and that benefits the countries receiving the investments. Why should any country cut their ties with China to please the US? Is the US offering to compensate those countries for their losses if they were to do so?

I have only been in China for one year, but during this year, I did not see a homeless person. What the heck is up with containing China, wasn't it the whole point in western policy maker to empower or invest in countries, so they share values with them so they can be pro democracy and thwart off the communists? Which it did its job on the Soviet Union because It was with China's help that the West overtook Russia.
But the west didn't know what to do with their wealth considering all we care about are high living standards, and wealth movement.
So China made long term strategic development, while having access to all the things they can learn/copy from the US, because Chinese loves to copy, like that's a core part of education.

Whatever happens, I really appreciate the time we have as a westerner with China, with the rapid change and development each side has played in advancing technology, and cooperation.
I think even if the West and China will try to shape different narriative, I will always think fondly of every couple of years discovering I can do more with my computer, more with internet, more with stuff like lime wire and mega upload, faster internet speed and webbrowsing integration, having access to massive amount of information, transitioning to more smartphone usage, having GPS as a norm, Having chatroom like discord, and now Having Chatgpt and AI.
I think it will always go down in history as one of the sweetest of times, that would be recorded in the begining of the 2nd thousand of human CE years.
I think each culture of polarity have it's own flaws, which always eats them from within, and the purpose of more power is to dump it onto the other side what they can't deal with.
