- On this episode of Tom Talks, we take a closer look at contemporary Bugatti’s. We look at the differences in their specifications, performance and current place in the market. In addition, Tom takes them all for a drive!

Hartley is the best at this sort of presentation, putting the car in context, driving it like a real enthusiast, keeping it classy and casual with no sales bs. Just a killer presentation. Note - looks to me that on the Chiron the rear view stares at the interior "C" illumination, how does that play? Is the mirror a camera not a mirror? I do wonder if it's faster than a Tesla S to 100 etc.
It's really just a joy to watch this man talk about cars. Quite often I find myself skipping a lot when watching other car videos these days...

Hey Tom, I’ve asked you a few questions before for your next Q&A but I’m wondering if a 275 short nose is a better buy than a 4 cam (as in, is a short nose worse to drive)? I much prefer the look of the short nose despite the long nose already being aesthetically pleasing. Thank you.

I love the detail in these videos, it reminds me of the golden years of Top Gear. They had described the Veyron as “the most mind boggling collection of numbers”. My favourite number has always been the price of a tyre-change. Can you also do a video on weight loss please? Human weight, not the cars’

What a well done video, top notch. I agree, the Veyron especially is only going up in value.
Love your presentation... Have in mind though that right now they have left only 40 chirons left for order and since the very recently merge with Rimac the successor of the Chiron will be hybrid and the newly Rimac- Bugatti group will also present a hybrid 4 seater, rumours want to present even a cross over so this is the last era of Bugatti with true internal combustion engines . Remember that.. when Bugatti in the near future presents the next hybrid hypercar and the 4 seater prices of chirons and veyrons will be sky rocketed and the brand value Will fall a little bit after the lunch of the new Rimac Bugatti cars same will happen with Ferrari when they will launch the new SUV..
Are you able to explain why all these high end supper cars are ALL only in LHD ? Even the McLaren P1 which is British is ALSO only in LHD ? Do not understand WHY ?
Not all super cars are LHD, it’s just that only Britain and a few other countries in the world have RHD drive cars, and so most of these cars are brought in countries which have LHD, and some super cars are made only LHD (like the Carrera GT I think) because overall most counties drive on the left

These cars are the epitome of automobile, Never can be matched or defeated!
These Bugatti's are an excellent investment as they will be the last, museum pieces from the outset. Costing way over 3 million dollars a piece, they are the pinnacle of what is possible for ICE cars. But a simple early Tesla family car like the S or S Plaid is already besting them in acceleration and speed up until 220 kmh /160 mph. New technology takes over. The most beautiful carriage, with the most powerful, beautiful and fast horses could not compete with an ICE car. The best ICE car cannot not compete with a dedicated BEV car design - of which we have seen only the beginnings. But remember, people still enjoy riding horses and Bugatti's will be loved forever, too.

Quite simply the best modern performance cars and after thinking long and hard about it...I will continue to ride by bicycle!

Standard veyron 1001 hp 1200nm top speed 253 mph 0-60 in 2.5 sec and 1/4 mile in 10.0 sec flat
Veyron super sport 1200 hp 1500 nm top speed 268.89 mph 0-60 in 2.48 sec 1/4 mile 9.7 sec
Chiron 1500 hp and 1600nm top speed was at 288 mph but limited to 261 mph 0-60 in 2.3 sec 1/4 mile time in 9.4 sec

I much prefer the side profile of the Veyron. Just looks a lot lower and meaner.
Undervalued because many enthusiasts are reactionary. The Veyron is the antithesis of what some people tell us is the perfect car. Those people have never accepted its greatness.

Man a car that is suppose to represent the culmination of engineering.... and with those absurd maintenance costs.... this is not talking well about its engineering I would say. I see the sweat of Tom losing around 1K every mile driven on the cars... not good idea to make the most advanced supercar without any pedigree in racing, some years later the pure engineering is evifently overpassed and nothing else remain, and there you have them beeing sold by much less than new, I guess Tom do not need to "wear out"/drive any porsche or ferrari to sell them. Sorry for the negative comment, but I really never understood the new bugattis...
