Absolutely, Eggs fanboys talking for Mister Koenigsegg when he explains for his cars, but the Koenigsegg fanboys doesnt even get for what he talking about they like the car and respectively like the chairman and after that they go and spread hate for Bugatti... what a shame community, they even cant understand what is Bugatti and why they are the most respected car manufacturer, just the things they doing like company are on another level, for example Mister Wallace explaining everything with passion and experience that cannot be match from any other, the Pilot speaks for itself, the man that doing the world records, he can explain better than every engineer and designer, he talking for the cars with respect because he is part of them and that will be forever!
What stood out to me most was the bit when Andy said he’s “Just a driver” yet still went in depth to so much technical detail about the car. I’d really love an analysis like this to be done from the minds of the actual creators of the math behind the engineering.
Michelin is definitely a world class tire company. Thanks James for the exclusive/in depth thoughts and hanging out with Andy. Very cool mate. from Portland, Oregon USA
How amazing was that. Hearing Andy Wallace talk about the incredible engineering behind the cars was really enlightening. A big thank you to James for opening the door to such an event.
Had the privilege of meeting Andy at a Jaguar dealership some time ago when he brought along his race winning Le Mans XJR, what a machine! Andy was so knowledgeable modest and unassuming, I could have happily listened to him all night.
James, you entered my world through DDE and the privilege has been all mine. Your content is exquisite, dialogue is sophisticated, and your taste is impeccable. Thank you for everything you do.
Wow, what a spectacular video. I wasn't going to watch it because frankly, I've seen way too many "handover" videos. But this was so much more! Didn't even see the handover, but the information that was shared and the mind boggling realities of building a car so capable, wow. Just WOW. Thanks James, you've really done it here!
It was actually really relaxing hearing the first gentleman go over the info for the Bugattis. The chateau was beautiful! This was definitely above average 😆. Can't wait to see more of your trip. Great video!
That Chiron is a work of art. What a stunning collection to own. The cars are stunning, not to mention the number plates. Very luck guy who owns these, and hats of to them.
I’ve been lucky enough to see all 7 of the cars in this video at car shows over the years. All owned by the same guy. Props to him for being generous enough to share them with us mere mortal members of the public 👌❤😎🔥
Love your demeanor and your style. The obvious joy and true fascination with these machines is evident in all your videos. It's obvious by the relationships you've developed with the BIG players in the hyper car world that you've garnered the respect of people like Andy Wallace, Christian, and others. Having access to the greatest collections in the world and allowing us to tag along through your pages is a treat and very much appreciated! Good luck with Koenigsegg of London and looking forward to many years of this premium content. UA-camrs take notes, this is how you produce a video.
I'm not a big Bugatti fan, but it's amazing to see them all together, and the explanations about all the difficulties in the records!! But that Monza SP2 and the Daytona are pure perfection! Great content!
What an amazing man. The science is way beyond me, but I feel I understood what he was saying. Not many have the ability to bring down to such a level. Proof if proof were needed, that you can just up the power and go faster. So much else has to be considered.
Wow, what an amazing set of world leading cars. The knowledge of Andy is phenomenal. The physics and engineering that goes into these cars is incredible. My perspective of Bugatti has gone up. And a carbon bottle of champagne in its own cooler, wow. Thank you James and team. 😎😎😎👍👍👍
I worked on that 1 of 8 300+ for the full custom PPF job. What an incredible car. Chris Singh is an incredible guy. My boss also did the Divo, full custom PPF and it won best of show.
I guess the Chiron Super Sport 300+ would've reached 500km/h if Ehra-Lessien's straight road was a bit longer... 🤔 Thanks Mr. JWW for this great interview with Mr. Wallace. 🙏🙏🙏
I watch a lot of car content on UA-cam and this video was the most engaging and thoughtful I have seen thus far apart from your video of you taking delivery of the Valkyrie. wow I love your content please keep making these videos for its is good to dream.
This should have Millions and Millions of views for super car enthusiasts or even Civic and Corolla enthusiasts. Mind blowing bro James. Thanks for sharing 🎉
This is by far the most amazing video of an amazing vehicle with the most amazing and knowledgeable driver, and well done to you for enabling the whole video. Truly brilliant
Amazing too see all bugatti record cars in one moment,I love these black orange legends and combination of top speed, engineering and beautifully together in one car is phenomenal🧡🖤
Such unique and indepth content this was a true pleasure to listen to. I am an engineer and this is my style along with the crazy car driving of course.
MR JWW Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's absolutey incredible that someone owns all 3 Bugatti World Record Cars and along with a another Veyron ,a Divo a Monza SP2 and a Daytona SP3 and I think it's how Andy explained what it take for the World Record Buggatis to Perform as well as they do
A special new tyre for only 30 cars, that wont do anywhere near those crazy speeds. Mind boggling. Also mind boggling having access to these amazing stats great video, thanks🙂
@@jcc3494 no. They only went one way. Apparently they always go that one direction on that track during test runs so their excuse is that the asphalt grains are like, aligned in that direction now and going the opposite way now at high speed would put lots of extra wear and stress on the tires. Something like that.
Its always amazed me how even someone like Andy Wallace mistakes wastegages with blow off/diverter valves. This is SO common in all sorts of media from people who you'd think know a lot about cars. That sound you're hearing when you life off throttle is NOT the wastegate(s)!
Remember Andy Wallace from the early 80’s doing well in F3. Recall he drove a Reynard. Had hair and a moustache I think. Then LeMans of course, what he doesn’t know about driving by now !!!! Knowledgable guy.
You know the owner's pretty well-off when Icona Series Ferrari's are there to just make things look prettier. Congratulations to the owner. Side note: Andy Wallace talking about Bugattis is something I could listen to as a podcast.
James what do you think about the Daytona SP3 from Ferrari ? I haven't had anybody comment back to me when ive asked about the car ! Is it something that you would drive or want to drive ? Is it a good Ferrari unlike most of the other ones lol ?
I wonder what kind of heat is generated in those tires during the high speed run too. I'm sure that is factored in to the equation also, but it would be interesting to see. I'm sure the tire becomes super hot as it's coming towards the pavement, and then cooling the milisecond it leaves the pavement. Some big brains involved it making these beast.
Amazing things to know how they have to deal to make very fast car. So basically Koenigsegg, Hennessy and few others have the same challanging things to deal with.
Amazing video, loved hearing all the details! Got to see a super sport in MN a bit ago. Owner also has all 3 record setting models, the one off Golden Era Chiron SS, a Centodieci, and not to mention 4 Singers 😂
Andy Wallace speaking his Bugatti language is my kind of ASMR!
💯
Exactly
I could honestly listen to this while falling asleep :)

They’ve played there cards so smartly and correctly. They now dominate the tire game for these types of cars.
Who would have thought that one valve cap would be such a big problem in balance...BUGATTI 👌
That was a fun bit to learn about.

Still remember when James May took the wheel. Legendary with a legacy. Hero stuff covering all three wrc!
That was one hell of a moment. Captain Slow with an order to totally send it in a Bugatti. Which he did.
Man I LOVE hearing Andy Wallace talk about these cars. He is sooo informative and clear with his explanations. Thank you Mr Wallace an JWW.

The intricate engineering and the calculations involved is beyond my understanding. So cool!

I can't imagine how often the tires need replacement at speeds exceeding 400 kph.
