Hey Kederk. Very much enjoyed binging your series! Just to give something back, on FS22 precision farming, the slurry and manure (and probably digestate, but I have not done any in forever) are applied at a set rate depending on soil type only, and independent of crop type. So you are not missing something with PF, it is working as intended. The upshot of this is you have to be careful if you apply both slurry and manure. This will add too much nitrogen for some crops (oats, for example). However for others (like corn), an application of slurry and manure (or two times slurry I guess, before and after ploughing, not tried it) will take you almost to the top of your nitrogen requirement and save massively on fert costs.
Thanks! I thought there used to be a crop type application setting but that must be only for normal fertilizer or not exist in FS22 like it did in 19. I'm not overly familiar with manure so appreciate the comments!
Hey Kederk thanks for taking a look at the kitchen building it was nice to see that you read and used that to put the chaff in there yes I know it is going to be a little harder to get that to the harvest store but it gives you room to store the chaff in while the harvest store can do it's thing I would also think about getting the the production upgrade mod that will allow you to upgrade the harvest store composite
The bar set up on back of tank makes a difference. When I hauled, we had some with VTI bars which would inject with minimal tearing of ground & rest of tanks had more of a disk set up that did light tillage while applying. But throwing manure right on top is still best way to spread😅
Need to do what you did in the field, where you plowed and then planted over the top of it and the bushes will be gone. Then you can just paint over the top of it.
The corn header you have can have chopping knives that can be turned on and can actually mulch corn and sunflower stalks (im not 100% sure if this is true I just saw it mulching corn stalks on a video by the formal pickle)
Hey Kederk I have a question so how do you have extra stuff in your fermenting silo like you have silo hay, forage, and corn stalk? But when I look at mine i only have alfalfa, grass, straw, and clover. Didn't know if it was a mod maybe?
I'm still on V1 of the map. I'm betting when I upgrade those options will go away so I've been hesitant to do so until I've gotten through this season and get everything squared away on the farm. :)
I’ve been using that weed whacker mod you carry around when I want to role play getting rid of bushes. Forget the name of it. I use the No drop version and it gets rid of them without using terrain tools.
You could use a belt system to get that chaff outta there when you are ready. If you do it right you wouldn't even need to bring the truck in the building to load it. Just sayin' 🙂
I've tried everything on UMFV to rid of those bushes, and nothing worked. Then I got the Build Your Own FR. Edition and finally I can do anything that I want. I would to see you Build a farm from scratch.
Thanks! Slowly investing in trying to upscale the content a little bit. Just gotta wrap up this little "side" project called American Farming and we'll see where things can really go. ;-)
I didn't think about that! I've got that mod on my other series and modded it to store grain but in this case I'd want the silage. Well now I feel silly!
just search on google for FS22 Autodrive Github and you should find it. I also post links to all the mods I'm using for this series on my discord server. Look for a pinned post in the "mod links FS22" channel
You should get people to help yuo love your realistic videos it amazing
Just the "hello welcome to kederk farms" is the best part of every video
Thanks! I don't know why but I started doing it years ago and it's just become my thing. :)

Using the Grass paint too, You can hold down right click to erase grass textures.
I did not know that, thanks for the tip!
Great tip! Definitely going to get this cleaned up next episode!
Paint the bushes with grass then paint over grass with gravel
When you’re in landscaping mode, just select a plant like grass, and right click to remove, instead of left click to add
Ah, I remember the moment when I figured that out. Pure joy
I like the intro!
Thanks!
I love the Corn 🌽 Trash textures on this map 🤠
Agree, even if you wouldn't normally have them when chopping corn I love that it has the destruction when you drive over the stubble / trash as well.
Need to do what you did in the field, where you plowed and then planted over the top of it and the bushes will be gone. Then you can just paint over the top of it.
I think you should get an ag bag like you have on edgewater for your silage
The corn header you have can have chopping knives that can be turned on and can actually mulch corn and sunflower stalks (im not 100% sure if this is true I just saw it mulching corn stalks on a video by the formal pickle)
Others have mentioned that to me as well. I definitely need to remember to look into that for next harvest!

Go to plants paint over them with the grass then paint your texture over it again
I’ve been using that weed whacker mod you carry around when I want to role play getting rid of bushes. Forget the name of it. I use the No drop version and it gets rid of them without using terrain tools.
Use a plow and then paint over it will remove the bushes
You could use a belt system to get that chaff outta there when you are ready. If you do it right you wouldn't even need to bring the truck in the building to load it. Just sayin' 🙂
That's probably going to be the easiest way to do it.
@@KederkFarms I always try to do the easiest way, and in this case less actual time and fuel usage as well. 🙂
Hi Kederk. I’m new to your channel. Love your content.
Paint the ground with grass and then put your gravel down or get the real mower mod and a brush hog and mow them down.
Thanks! Seems kind of silly to have to do that but I've had a few people suggest it. Will try it out!
@@KederkFarms it's because you don't have the updated version of the map.
You should do corn stalks after you combine and change the series logo to ISU’s colors
keep up the good work kederk
Hey I was wondering if you need straw for dairy cows to produce slurry?
I think after you sell off the harvested crops you should find some where to place a silage bunk so you stop having issues with the harve-store
I agree, I think for next years silage we'll find a place to put a nice big bunk / pad down it'll be fun to really go all out.
Use the smoothing tool Good video!
I've tried everything on UMFV to rid of those bushes, and nothing worked. Then I got the Build Your Own FR. Edition and finally I can do anything that I want. I would to see you Build a farm from scratch.
Is that intro gonna stick around for a while?
Yeah I think so we're trying some things out, trying to spruce up / improve my workflow and video quality slowly.
@@KederkFarms I like it lighten up the mood of the video
What mod did u use to make the harvested corn look different?
That's just part of the map.
New intro is snazzy!!
Thanks! Slowly investing in trying to upscale the content a little bit. Just gotta wrap up this little "side" project called American Farming and we'll see where things can really go. ;-)
What you could do is place grass on it then re paint it. That’s how i have done it
You should put the rest of the chaff in a agbag
U should use a ag bag
Watched Argsy do just that and it worked out great! Great vid today.
I didn't think about that! I've got that mod on my other series and modded it to store grain but in this case I'd want the silage. Well now I feel silly!
@@KederkFarms no you arnt silly your the best out there its just a brain fart that all
Made a type in the title, change of to off unless youre at the 100 character limit lol
Doh, thanks for pointing it out!
Can you make a video you show to download the yield map
Where do you get that yield mod at
Precision Farming is the mod that's showing the yield maps. It's an official Giants created mod that they released on the in-game mod hub.
like the new intro
Plow those bushes and landscape over
I use the ag bag mod for the rest of that corn
I wish I could find a GEA slurry spreader like that for console. Every slurry spreader for console is European branded.
Yeah unfortunately I haven't seen anything North American come to console for slurry spreaders.
I personally think ya need a silage bunker
Agreed, I think that would be more realistic for a big dairy, and something I haven't done a lot of so I'm going to try that out next season I think!
@@KederkFarms yea a local dairy by me milks 2500 cows and does 6 silos for grass and 8 bunkers for corn silage
What do you use to record
hey man, where can i download that autodrive that u got ?
just search on google for FS22 Autodrive Github and you should find it. I also post links to all the mods I'm using for this series on my discord server. Look for a pinned post in the "mod links FS22" channel
What mod u have for cow barn??
I work on a farm that does a whole lot of chopping, it's kinda chaotic
Is the course generator coming to PS4?
Try to plow the bushes under
Hmm! Yes I wish that it was a mod to eliminate unwanted bushes! #SM SMH 😫
Or try painting it green first.
Plow it
