Dude, I like your videos a lot. They show me that there are more ways to fix an accident than just throwing it to the auto body shops. I know you have been doing this for a very long time, but it still nice to see what can be done and what to watch for when buying an older car that is questionable.
As a retired fleet tech, I’ve done tons of rework of factory warranty crap as well as spent loads of time on rework on hack body shops till it made me leave the trade from burnout after 30 years. You sir are rare and I’ve seen so much that I can’t forget just walking through shops that made me cringe. Thanks for the great video and keep them safety glasses on those precious eyes my friend.
That's a great-looking job on that little Corolla. You're right people have way too many misconceptions about a repaired car, or a rebuilt car. I used to work in a limousine Factory. Those people were considered certified aftermarket remanufacturers. My company that I worked for manufactured limousines and funeral cars and trust me the only person that deserves to ride in that funeral car was the man in the casket. If the car buying public saw the manufacturing process for those Autos they'd run off screaming Into the Night. Thanks for another great video take care.
I know exactly what you are talking about on the limos. I have worked on a few and some of the work is scary! The same goes for the handicapped vans! People trust all these modified pieces of garbage but a car with a salvage title that may not even have been damaged is unsafe? The worst is not uninformed people, it is the people that are heavily informed..... with incorrect information and there is a lot of incorrect information available. Hopefully,I can provide some good quality information to whatever small portion of the population I can reach. Thanks for the support, have a good month!
Thanks, it looks worse than it is. There is no support up there so it just folds up even in minor accidents. Good luck on the repair and thanks for watching.

Thanks, thanks for watching. I will make sure to always have a time lapse of all the jobs when they are done even if I have update videos for the process. I know some people just want to watch it all, start to finish.
Your time lapse videos are some of my favorites. I learn allot watching them and I don't have to sit and listen to some guy babble on and not get to it. Thank you.
Good job i learn something new each time you repair a car . I try to evaluate wrecks from how you have repaired them .Thanks for taking the time to explain the repair have seen a lot of cut n splice get it done jobs on you tube
I'm glad you learn something, I never thought of myself as a teacher and did not intend for these videos do teach in the beginning, but now, it seems that is my main goal. Hey, you guys teach me too. I fix cars, my viewers let me know what they want from me on this platform and I am happy to deliver. I'm not a hack it together kind of guy. If I do the work, I want it to be right or why bother. Thanks for watching and the support.
Wow , thank you for helpful videos . Bought salvage Toyota Highlander from auction with apron damage. In the beginning was worried how I will fix it , but watching your videos seems it’s not that hard, thank you
Glad the video was helpful. I will have a how to on the Terrain that I go in detail with installing the apron and rail. It will not be out for a little bit though, too much going on right now. Thanks for watching and good luck on the Highlander!
I like the way you work on cars and trucks. You are a skilled mechanic, and if i ever had a collison car to repair, i wish i could find someone like you to repair my car/truck. Keep these videos coming! 😊
This is the first time I look to your videos. Sorry we missed the bulk of the recording but I did enjoy learning from your experience. Keep them coming.
Thanks for your videos. I started watching repair videos from another UA-camr and while he was entertaining, he was obviously not a body man or a mechanic and did some absolutely wrong and dangerous things. Anyway, you can tell a guy who knows what he’s doing and does a job right. You know what your doing and it’s refreshing to watch a “pro”. Are you a trained mechanic and/or body man?
Thanks for watching. I have recently started watching videos here and there and I know what you mean. It is good that you can realize the difference between the right way and the way people sometimes do things. The biggest problem is than sometimes people that don't do things the right way have a large following of people that are learning things the wrong way and go on to make the same mistakes in their projects. I am a mechanic. I worked in a bodyshop for years and did bodywork when the mechanical shop got slow. I took classes and trained with the other body techs and have done my own rebuild projects for 20+ years. So I have a little experience with every aspect of a rebuild from frame work to painting.
Hi great repair again don't worry about missing footage everyone knows things can go wrong really looking forward to the how to video's big thumbs up from England
Thanks, it is bad enough when I forget the camera at home and either have to go back and get it, deal without the footage or just scrap the idea of getting any work done that day. It really sucks when I did all the work and thought it was all recorded. I have all the footage for some of the how to videos, now I just need to edit and upload before I manage to lose it. lol Thanks for watching. Best wishes from the other side of the pond!

Nice Repair. It this is a car your'e not really familiar with, how do you know where the various harnesses, lines, etc. go to be correct? If you've not seen it undamaged? You're skill set is amazing. I would have no qualms purchasing a vehicle you've repaired.
Thanks, stuff kind of fits in only one spot so sometimes you may have to search for that spot and route a harness 2 or 3 times to get it right but with some patience, it all goes back together like it should. I did have a parts car to refer to and when I took it apart, and saw how everything was supposed to go. Truth be told since I was putting this together 4 moths after I took it apart, I did have two little pieces of foam that took me like an hour to figure out how and where they went. lol That makes the difference in the repair. I could have just thrown them away and no one would have noticed but the hour spent to put it back together correctly or take something apart for a second time to get it perfect is what sets me apart from the guys that are in this just to make a buck. Thanks for watching!
We have to start at the beginning with the basics. I'll get into the big panels as the jobs come along but once you learn the basics, the rest is pretty much the same regardless of the panel you are replacing. Thanks for watching and the support!
Like any other system, they are not perfect. I have seem some that even the pre-collision systems could not prevent. I agree it may have been useful in this case though but then I wouldn't get to fix it. lol Thanks for watching.
You know what I would like to see a video on. How you keep your parts and bolts organized. Do you do any type of bagging system ? Or just a pile for every car? Do you keep a list of parts you need as you are taking them off and find they are not saveable? I imagine that all goes on behind the scenes once the cameras are off as waiting on hold with the wrecking yard is not that compelling video! LOL
I'm actually starting some how to videos next month at the request of my viewers. They will have some behind the scenes stuff as well as a close up and explanations of what and how I am doing my repairs. The how do you keep track of parts question is one I get a lot. lol
I don't know how vehcor does it, but like him my projects can be apart for some time. During that time the brain cells forget where those fasteners were supposed to go. So a couple of things I find useful are a quick cellphone video showing routings and positioning that's just me talking it through. Then I use ziplock baggies and place all the pieces for each step into them, seal them and label them plus I add a number that was that removal step. Then when it comes time for reassembly I begin with the baggie with the highest number and proceed to put it back together. If I have a question about did this hose go over or under, I refer to my video. I also use masking tape on electrical connectors and hoses with brief labels like TPS, EGR, MAP, etc. Then if you come across that mystery connection, it's not a mystery.
I know I'm late but new subscriber here! Awesome work! Do you have your own shop or do you work for someone? Thanks again for the hard work you are putting in just to share your knowledge with us!
It's never too late to join the family! Glad to have you here. I rent the shop on nights and weekends. No problem, happy to share! Thanks for watching.
I love watching your video's. At my shop, they usually tell you that your car is a total loss when the bulbs burn out on it. You make swapping a chassis seem an easy job. What would be super interesting is if you would mention what you paid for the car, what you spent on parts and what you sold it for. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see how you got on with the 2500HD.
A lot of shops only take in the gravy work. It has gotten worse over the years. Swapping frames and cabs is easy, it just takes practice like anything else. If you never try, you never learn. I would give out prices except I show my videos to buyers and prices just complicate the sale which is what is important to me. I will give out prices on some if I can or at least give you an idea on some of the big ones. Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much for the great video. I wonder if making a 1-1/2 inch hole on the wall of the passenger side front wheel well would affect the structure of the 2012 Camry. I wanted to have access to the PCV valve, which is at the back of the engine and under the intake manifold. The hole would be slightly above the frame and near the strut tower. I would appreciate your advice kindly! (There are people who do the job from below the engine or by removing the intake manifold, but, at 74, I feel either of the methods is too much for me). Thanks again!
How much you would say this costs? Insurance won't cover because it was the other driver taking the red, now we are left with us being at fault, so 🤷 how much to get it fixed ?
@@vehcor was the $3,500 for just parts or does it estimate/include labor? I ask because I JUST had a rear end with my 2015 corolla and it looks like this. ;-( trying to estimate
my car got wrecked from the side just like this but the wheel got pushed in and i’ve been trying to fix it on my own since i’m not trying to pay thousands for it THANKS😂
This project took several months, but all the major work was done over 1 weekend. What causes multiple-month delays in completing these types of jobs? Do you have multiple jobs staggered and work them concurrently when waiting on parts?
Yes, if done correctly, it is as good as before the accident. So many people are brainwashed into thinking every repaired car is hacked together. Thanks for watching.
Is this this your corolla ? because in Canada our insurance company wood never put new wipers tires brakes rotors on and you sir are very knowledgeable also watching your d-max vid lately omg the wiring electricail is so mindboggeling to watch
These are all cars I buy from the auction to drive or sell. An insurance company only fixes what was caused by the accident as well in the US. They never would have paid for the brakes, tires, battery, oil change or the wiper blades. Keep warm up there and thanks for watching!
My 2009 lexus had the same problem. But my front end looks wayyy better than this, this looks crazy! How much do you think i should be paying to fix the whole nose of my is250? Its driveable and all that. I was told $2200
Very impressive! If the firewall is damaged on a vehicle and the chassis is bent like my vehicle. Is it repairable? And will the car be roadworthy? Not sure if I can attach a pic of my car here? Thanks
Do you ever sent the car/truck to a frame alignment shop ? I mean just the fact that all the parts are in and welded, painted, but I was interested in the camber / Castor of the wheel ?
Every car goes for an alignment when it is done, that and an oil change regardless of what was done. The auction loader drivers tend to damage things underneath. Even if it is only knocking things out of alignment so it is cheap insurance. This one got 4 new tires, so an alignment is a good idea anyway. Thanks for watching.
I recently wrecked my 2016 Hyundai Sonata ….looks very similiar to how this one ….completely missed the front bump bar it took out everything from headlight all the way to suspension missed the main frame. Didn’t quite hit the motor mount. Afraid of insurance totaling my car out so I don’t want to take to shop yet but would you be able to give me a rough estimate of how much you think this job would typically go for. Great video though btw keep up the good work. To clear it up asking for estimate cost of the job in your video
Thanks, as soon as I get them all done, they will start coming out. Hopefully I can show you something new. I did try to throw in some little tips here and there that I have learned over the years. Thanks for watching!
my car looks very similar to this!!! I have a 2020 Mazda CX3 and a fedex driver plowed into my parked car😭 watching body work videos while i wait for it my car to be fixed!! haha
My 2014 Toyota Corolla was rear ended and it pushed my spare tire trunk well in a little. However the Rear Trunk Body Trim Mold will not fit properly and i don't have $2900 to $4000 to fix it. The entire trunk. You can't even tell the car was hit except I point it out. What would you remmend just to get the Rear Trunk Body Trim Mold to fit properly.
I like you telling us the details rather than music, great video

There’s something relaxing about watching a car being pulled on the frame rack 😎
I actually do like watching the parts move in the videos myself.

I'm pretty much disabled now and can't barely walk. I enjoy your video because I liked cars, don't have one, but I wish.
Subscribing because of the end, motivation. Keep up the great work.
THANK YOU !!!! I have always wanted to know how to weld quarter panels and body structures. I love your channel :)
We have to start at the beginning with the basics. I'll get into the big panels as the jobs come along but once you learn the basics, the rest is pretty much the same regardless of the panel you are replacing. Thanks for watching and the support!
Very soothing, enjoy watching these
Thanks, glad you enjoy them.
Very good frame work
Thanks!
Great job like always enjoy watching your videos
I'll keep making them. Thank you for your support!
Since this a 2015 model. it doesn't have the Safety Sense package that Toyota added in 2017 which includes pre-collison system with brake assist.
Like any other system, they are not perfect. I have seem some that even the pre-collision systems could not prevent. I agree it may have been useful in this case though but then I wouldn't get to fix it. lol Thanks for watching.
Davin Peterson A safety sense package doesn’t replace your eyes
I had exactly the same shock, and the airbags did not open, that of this car if the airbags exploded?
we all make mistakes, we're only human, just keep going, I know I really enjoy your work, you got me hooked with that duramax mistake rebuild
Yep, if more people would learn to accept that the world would be a much better place. Thanks for watching. Hopefully I can get some more Dmaxes!
The how do you keep track of parts question is one I get a lot. lol
Fantastic suggestion. When I work on my vehicle I usually have them marked in a baggy or stuck on/in a cardboard slab that is labeled.

Hi sir thank you even after 2 years you da best!
Thanks for your videos you are a very talented man!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Scott, You are the Best! Thanks
Thank you very much for your effort, excellent job
No problem, thank you for watching!
Thanks for watching.
vehcor so about how much a job like this cost?
Mad skills...thanks for taking the time.
Thanks, no problem! Thanks for watching!
Great video! May I know how much was this repair worth?
Thanks, this job was $3500 without the additional maintenance work. That added another $1000. Thanks for watching.
Do you have multiple jobs staggered and work them concurrently when waiting on parts?
you know hiccups and all, i think this was a great video
There's a difference between a repaired car and a thrown together car that makes all the difference
Very inspirational man, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
My 2009 lexus had the same problem. But my front end looks wayyy better than this, this looks crazy! How much do you think i should be paying to fix the whole nose of my is250? Its driveable and all that. I was told $2200
Really appreciated your hard work ❤️
Very impressive!
I enjoy your work and it looks great! new subscriber here.
Thanks and glad to have you here!
Great video thanks for uploading!
how much does something like this cost?
Hey, that was great, I’m looking forward to your how to vids, always interested in learning something new.
Thanks, as soon as I get them all done, they will start coming out. Hopefully I can show you something new. I did try to throw in some little tips here and there that I have learned over the years. Thanks for watching!
Outstanding job.
Thank you!
my car looks very similar to this!!! I have a 2020 Mazda CX3 and a fedex driver plowed into my parked car😭 watching body work videos while i wait for it my car to be fixed!! haha
what was the estimated repair cost on this? parts and labor.. I have the exact same damage on a 2017 Camary
Same here. I’d like to know how much it costs
Around 6k
I know this is a 3yr old video but I have a 2010 toyota corolla S with the same hit on the front right area...how much will repairs cost sir?
You did a good job. I have a 2014 Camry damaged just like that and still sitting at our garage. I wonder how much is the total cost.
awesome work!!
Thanks
My 2014 Toyota Corolla was rear ended and it pushed my spare tire trunk well in a little. However the Rear Trunk Body Trim Mold will not fit properly and i don't have $2900 to $4000 to fix it. The entire trunk. You can't even tell the car was hit except I point it out. What would you remmend just to get the Rear Trunk Body Trim Mold to fit properly.
The lord has uploaded! Hallelujah!
HAHA, thanks for watching!
More videos please. Great job!
Thanks, more videos are on the way.
You still did a great job bro💯💯💯
Thanks
Like the title!!! I put that in my video of my wrecked car.... "Look BOTH Ways"!!!!
Where are you at??? I’m wondering if you can fix mine :((
