So many wonderful memories! I am a CTMH Maker with just a few steady customers and we meet once a month and we work on a few layouts. After watching your 8-1/2 x 11 layouts I decided to try that for a scrapbook for my two grandsons. I made them each a 6 x 8 of their lives up to age one and want to continue!
If you enjoyed the 6x8 you’ll enjoy the 8.5x11 too! It’s fun to work with a rectangle for a change. And it’ll be a nice size for them to look thru. 12x12 is still my favorite but it’s fun to mix it up!

I think my faves have to be those done by your daughter - she did an amazing job picking the photos that she loves and wants to write the stories from her memories of those moments.
She is so creative - in a different way than I am. She dreams up such amazing ideas. Can’t wait to see where it takes her.

My daughter is 14 now and I feel like my perfectionist ways prohibited her from doing her own scrapbooking. Now, she doesn't have much interest in it. She will, however, occasionally grab some leftover diecuts and papers from my stash, and use my trimmer & glue to make other things, such as gift tags or decorations for her school binders. I'm so happy that your daughter is showing an interest and that you are allowing her to create her own memory books. She is doing a great job!
The struggles is real! My perfectionism has gotten in the way of her creativity before but I am finally learning to let her do her thing.

I enjoyed seeing your layouts again. There are so many inspiring ideas packed into this layout share and how cute to see your daughter's layouts! The boys scrapbooked when they were younger and now I wish I had encouraged it a little more.
I wish she did it more. But she’s still super creative. She mostly uses her supplies to make little doll houses out of boxes and decorates them with paper and embellishments 😍
