O thank you so much Kathy. This is an older video I made, and had the feeling the repetition and me constantly saying approximately was a bit boring. 😆. I am happy to have been helpful.
This is fantastic! However, I have hundreds of stamp ad die sets, so just bought bulk ready-made pockets. But, this will be useful if/when I run out and only need a few more! Thank you for the fantastic tutorial! 💕
I understand that it can be a bit overwhelming when making so many pockets. But it can be very useful when you need a different size or a much sturdier one. Thanks for your comment and enjoy cardmaking!
Thanks so much for this great hint! I buy the clear bags for a lot of my craft dies etc. but sometime you just don’t have the right size.. Now I will can’t wait to try this, another use for m trust laminator!
I am happy to hear that you found the right solution for you! You can even make double pockets for stamps and dies together, just make more layers. Good luck!
O thank you so much, this comment makes my day!!! Making video's costs so much time and effort. It is my pleasure to share what I know and helping others. (I made pockets for my patterned 6x6 papers too now).
Wat een goed idee om zo mapjes voor je stencils of stempels te maken !!! Jammer dat ik het nu pas zie, maar t is nooit te laat. Ik ga t zeker uitproberen. Dankjewel ❤
Such a good idea. Great demonstration for making pockets, thanks for sharing. One suggestion- maybe you don’t need the music playing in between your instructions.
Thank you for watching, I am happy this video is useful for you. This video is an old one, I learned that music can be annoying. Your comment is very much appreciated.
Thank you! Was wondering why the cloudiness happens, great info!! I have so many different sizes of stamps that I will probably have to create special ones, but I think the pocket sizes you created will probably be great for most of my stamps and dies! Thanks again! 👍🏻❤
WOW! What an awesome clever idea! Thank you so very much for sharing with us all. Just wonderful! I have purchased Magnetic tape from Ali, but have never seen it so thin, Maybe Amina Craft could start stocking it :). And that magnetic bowl, again have never seen or heard of those, but must get my hands on some!
Thank you very much for your enthousiasm on my video. I purchased this magnetic tape in the store near my home, as well as the bowls. They might sell the magnetic bowls in the tools department of your construction shop/ hardware shop.
@@cisvolk I have discovered over the last few years that a lot of wonderful items sold in other countries are not sold here in Australia. Thank goodness for overseas ordering via the internet :). I found both on Aliexpress :).
Hi, thank you for your clear video. However, my lamination sheets are glued together. I do turn the inside sheets inside out, but they are glued together. I use the same laminator machine and sheets as you do. Do you have any idea what is going wrong? Kind regards, Marianne
@@1707marianne I don't exactly understand what you mean. Are you Dutch?
@@cisvolk Ik ben Nederlandse inderdaad.
If you would follow the instructions you will see what happens. Each piece of plastic has a smooth and a sticky side. To get a pocket you need the 2 outer sides to be smooth and also 2 insides to be smooth, Having the two sticky sides together makes the opening in the middle. Succes in creating these folders!
I was confused by that when I saw the technique a long time ago, but found out(through my own experience lol) that if you don't have the inside pocket you will come out with just a sheet of laminated plastic! Lol Although handy for dividers etc, it's not exactly what one is looking for! Lol I've even made double pocket pockets but they're too thick for my liking! 👍🏻 Thanks again Francisca!
@@FreidaKirkland There are different thickness of laminate acetate available, maybe you can achieve the pockets you need this way? Having them thicker is useful for me, they keep my stamps secure. I am happy you found out how it works.

Zeker! Ik vind het ook fijn dat ze dan stevig opgeborgen zijn en er ook nog ruimte over is voor masks of gestempelde afdrukken.

Mine are glued together too at one side. But I cut that part off. You will manage to make the pockets!

Question: why do you make 2 pockets for each stamp set, why not just the outer pocket? Just curious, they are definitely sturdy

Seems expensive to me
A laminator is very cheep and laminating sheets are cheep as well. Together it is much cheaper then buying pockages yourself.
