I am Officially Cursed at Cup of the Day!

Yesterday at TrackMania's Cup of the Day, we played another map that combined grass and road!
By now, this is definitely the most common style in cup of the day: Road turns and/or drifts in combination with grass turns. Since we have this style very often and it already is rather simple by itself, seeing a map like this is not really making me excited. Nonetheless, it was a really good map and I tried my best to finally have a shot at winning cup of the day again...
Cup of the Day (COTD) is the biggest competition in TrackMania with thousands of players each day that is getting played on the latest Track of the Day being available for everyone with a paid access to the game.
Format explanation:
-15min time attack seeding
-players will be put into divisions of 64 according to the final ranking after the seeding
-knockout mode of these 64 players in each division until 1 player wins with the following knockout repartition: 64-17 players = 4 KOs/round; 16-9 players = 2 KOs/round; 8-2 players = 1 KO/round

People are getting bored because every day is a map like this, they should mix it up a lot, have 3 or 4 "typical" maps like this that people have played 1000 variants of before already and then add in a couple of unique maps each week, maybe even on a certain day of the week so people know. Not quite OotW but why not, do normal map enjoyers really need 7 maps a week while other people get 0? Why don't new players get to at least see the cool unique weird maps sometimes?
