Games like this benefit from keeping the story vague. Once you expound upon a mysterious plot too much, it takes the intrigue away.

Joel can surprisingly be very committed to the games he plays, despite the kind of humor he has. After all, he is the one that's played story-heavy games like Undertale and Deltarune. Vinny still refuses to play those games, despite them being right up his ally.
@@pancakes8670 He played Earthbound and Mother 3, tho. I think he explained a long time ago that he never had any interest in Undertale and the community's reaction to it just turned him off from it even further.

why do all these ps1 style indie games have raytraced lighting in them, it pisses me off.

it probably takes some effort to disable it and implement pre-baked lighting in unity since the engine devs want people to show off their lighting technology

This game doesn’t have raytraced lighting, not proper raytracing anyway. I’m not sure how most games do lighting calculations, but it wouldn’t be with raytracing, too computationally expensive without special hardware. Most games on the PS1 used baked in lighting with a small amount of dynamic lighting in some areas.

@@kinnikuboneman UA-cam streaming has its benefits, but muchlike Twitch it can have its fair share of faults. Both streaming options are good, but as of late Twitch has been imploding
