I have finished the online pattern design course, but it was conducted in Spanish. So hard to follow. Today, I looked at multiple vdo on UA-cam all day. Yours is the best. Easy and clear. Thank you very much. Keep on the good work.
The objects you have chosen saved in which format? And created them on photoshop or illustrator could you please answer this I am so new and very appreciative of your tutorials
Thank you Peggy for sharing this video with us! Just a quick question, can you please tell me how to make the right small cut repeat to send out to the mill? I'm a bit confused :/
Great tutorial, I've been wanting to learn how to do this for quite some time now. Thank you for the tutorial, I even picked up some new techniques and ways to improve my workflow. This was very simple to understand, and a great technique to get a lot of the ideas I've had in mind down. That's whats up.
My former art teacher has some wonderful photos of flowers that i have permission to use.I'm going to do them in watercolors, scan the art, and then use your tutorial to repeat the patterns. Thank you for an easy tutorial.
Hi peggy! Question for you, I've followed your tutorial step by step, however everytime I do the offset and then create the pattern and fill the page with my pattern it still shows a sharp cut through my design. even when I made sure before clicking offset none of my flowers were off the canvas. :( please help me lol
Hello Peggy, Thanks for video. You need to explain if you don't need to turn off the white background layer so that the background is not white before saving the pattern. I apologize badly in English.
Didn’t realize there was a tool within photoshop to help create patterns, definitely a time saver compared to other (longer) steps from other tutorials. Is this new?
I need to be able to live edit the pattern so it overlays onto the other tile (so looks cropped on 1 single tile). That way I get a more organic flow. Is there a way to do this please?
Kate Walton I have watched other videos on which the elements are placed each one in its own layer and then grouped (bouquets for example). They also use smart objects so the elements are fully editable and aren’t cropped. I hope this helps. 😉
Im very new to photoshop and am trying to do this with designs I created with the pen tool. I'm not figuring out how to maneuver the designs how I want them. Am I doing something wrong? Im so lost...
OMG! I just saw your pattern class for Procreate on skillshare yesterday, even though i don't have Procreate or an Ipad. And i wondered if I could make these patterns in Photoshop, and HERE YOU ARE WITH THIS AMAZING TUTORIAL! Thank you so so much! I have class now, but when I get home I will definetely watch this! 😍😍😍✨ You're amazing! Literally!
Great video! I took some photos of flowers. I wanna create pattern in photoshop. When I smaller my image it's quality become so bad. How can I create my photos pattern? Anyone can help?
seems like your photos are at a low resolution. are you making photos with your phone? Maybe if you make the flower image into a Smart Object, you might be able to enlarge without losing quality, but I am to sure of this.
Very helpful and informative tutorial! Thank you so much Peggy! Good luck!

How should I save a pattern to print?
Yes please… wondering the same thing. I need to send my file out. :)
You just change the resolution to a larger dpi... instead of 300 dpi go to 1000 dpi everything else is the same... but you can print 300 dpi too

Super helpful and easy to follow! Thanks so much!
I'm thinking that I would need to use another method if I wanted things to overlap? Or if I was doing a half-drop?
