Lie Flat Pod on a 3 hour domestic route? This wide-body aircraft on this route certainly beats any of the standard domestic Business Class products. Enjoy this full review of the in-flight experience in American Airlines First Class from Los Angeles to Dallas, touring the seat, in-flight entertainment, and tasting the full dinner service. Is the Dreamliner really that Dreamy? Stay tuned to find out!

Awesome review! Thanks for such a thorough video showing the seat, cabin, food, IFE.
Thanks!
Business class pods: *Perfect for introverts*
4A is where I’ll be sitting on Monday!! So excited!!!
Enjoy!
this was SO HELPFUL! thank you.
Ah yes, marketed as domestic first class but business in an international flight? Slick video, I subbed!
Indeed! Thanks for watching!
Wish I saw this video before I took the LAX-DFW flight in December 2021. The pod was AWESOME. And I had not seen a rear facing seat since I was in the Air Force.
Great video keep up the good work bro👊🏽
Thanks!
Amazing video
Thanks!
I never thought they’d use a 787 for such a short flight. Unless a lot of the flights leaving major cities like LA use wide-bodied planes. I live closer to a smaller city so I usually see 737s for domestic.
Large volume of passengers to haul. Short or long distance is almost immaterial.
Just about the headphones. Do they provide or you being your own?
They’re provided!
Outstanding trip report. It looks like a very good flight with AA. The meal was tasty.
So all passengers not in first walk through to their seats?
We boarded through the second cabin door, so First was to the left and Economy / Premium were to the right!
I want to know why AA planes from the DCA / CLT headed to the west coast not these type of plane?
It depends, sometimes they just need to reposition the aircraft to a different city, or it’s because they need the extra seat capacity on the route!
They are mainly used for long haul/international flights but occasionally east/west
Not enough of them yet. Better to fly 5 midsize aircraft or 2 787s, if you have extras? No brainer.
So is business class better than First Class nowadays?
I know I’m new rules this but do you have to pay separate for the food in first class or is it all included
All included!
so are all American Airlines 787-8 planes First Class this way?
Yes, I believe so!
Nice! Looks like the same layout and seats on Air Canada 787-8?
Similar seat style, but on American's 787-8s some of the seats face backwards like mine. On Air Canada's 787s all the seats are forward-facing
@@WillAviation Oh that is different! I was sitting in a rear facing United 777-200 a couple of years ago. Looking right into the engine without turning my head lol
This has to be old footage pre-COVID. Not one person wearing a mask and the flight attendant on board coughed which would have definitely raised eyebrows.
Nah fr?
The date was literally shown in the first few moments… I think it was January 2020
@@tanya5322 It was added after my comment, hence the 4 upvotes and OP responding to everybody else's comment but mine.
Date wasn’t added to the video, was in the original file when it was uploaded
You flight on Business class not First class, maybe the experience was first class?
American calls the “Business Class” cabin of their domestic flights “First Class”. United and Delta do the same
I don't like the seat layouts.. I would want to fly first so I wouldn't be seated by someone wanting to make conversation.. But with this layout someone is facing you the whole time.. Uncomfortable.. lol
I don't think the other person sees you though.
nobody wearing mask ???
Before COVID bud🤦🏽♂️
