Here in Australia, we cannot take scissors onboard with carry-on luggage. They will be confiscated st security. But circular needles are OK.

I'd love to see a tutorial for the German twisted cast on. I've only done the knitted cast on for 50 years (didn't know there was any other) and now I know how to do the long tail. I need to learn more!

I've only done the knitted cast on as well, for 50 years too! Back then, it was the only method. And short rows in sweater patterns never existed (which is fine with me. Lol).
YES .... please do a tutorial for fixing garter stitch dropped stitches. I have a blanket that I so badly want to work on and, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to fix it. I've watched several UA-cam tutorials but my brain just doesn't want to wrap around it. Maybe you can explain it more simply for me. I also love the German twisted cast on.

I agree. The German Twisted Cast On is the best… hence, I only knit socks top down, also. 🧦🧶

Yes fixing mistakes and German cast on I have done it once but definitely need a refresher course. Also I’d really like to watch some knitting, just a bit it’s kinda of calming. It’s cool here in Tennessee I’m just waiting to get the garden going. Have a great 2 weeks.

I started using the German twisted cast on last Christmas. One of my patterns for a advent called for it. Took me a while but I really like it for socks
I’ve been using it as a replacement for traditional Long Tail.
