- The SOG snarl is what I call a "BOGA" or Back off go away.
It is mean to give a nasty wound to the face, neck, or arm that is meant to make them stop and then flee.

Grabbing it like that is a great way to break your fingers. I use my first two fingers like that but wrap my ring and pinky around the bottom ring.

Neck knives are fun!
I put mine in my wallet. Half moon sticking out of the edge makes it easier to grab the wallet and easy to just pull the blade.

After a couple years it does wear a small. Hole in the pocket.

It is nice. I have a decent collection of small "back off knives" like this, and this is one of my faves.
Wear this on my belt everyday. Usually only have the finter in the front. Ring finger in the guard makes me kinda nervous. Great edc for cutting boxes or anything else in your way

You’re holding it wrong. The back hole is just to save weight, not for your finger. At least not for the way you’re holding it now.
Oh yeah, that is definitely a “back off!” kind of knife. It’s not flashy, it’s short and sweet and to the point; definitely something a brawler would carry.
