What if both parties are slightly shy or not able to read the other person? What if there is nervousness about expressing without losing a friendship if wanting to possibly move towards a romantic relationship? What could be a good opener to something like this?
I am always a fan of being authentic to yourself in expressing your wants and needs. I would say if you're being authentic and you voice these concerns and feelings, chances are higher in your favor of it going smoothly with a response and preserving any kind of relationship. Honest and authentic communication is always best and key. :)
