- It's been 45 years since the Singapore Symphony was founded, back in 1979. We're still pretty young by orchestral standards! But since those early days, we've come a long way, in a nation less than 60 years old. The Singapore Symphony thanks everyone for your support in the concert hall as well as online - we couldn't have made it this far without you. We have a whole year of music (and videos) prepared for you this 2024, and many more in the years to come!
Video concept & production: Playpunk
Starring, from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra: Guan Qi (Associate Principal Viola), Sam Armstrong (trombone), Mario Choo (percussion), Xu Jueyi (violin), Wu Dai Dai (cello), and Kenneth Kwok (CEO, Singapore Symphony Group)
Music: Pasat Merdu by Felix Phang
Happy Birthday SSO, I really enjoy your videos and hope to see you guys preform with Chloe Chua and others sometime soon. Love from Hawaii!
Congratulations! I remember attending the symphony at the age of 23 in 1982. What a long way to have come to being world class.
Ah.. I want to go on a trip again...
Happy Birthday SSO!
Remember to practice 40hrs a day!
Congratz. 😘
Happy birthday, SSO!
