If you look at Slipknot live performances from 1999 to 2001, they improved DRAMATICALLY.

The whole Disasterpieces Documentary is definitely worth checking out if you get the time or want something different to do a reaction to. As much as you like this album though you really should check out their self titled (or 1st) album. It really is the one most closely related to this one in sound even if this is a bit more angry. Their self titled album has some just really unique stuff in it. Make sure you find the version that includes the song Purity though. When slipknot released the album originally they couldnt have that track on it due to legal reasons. They gave that version out at shows for a while for free and then after some time they were allowed to re-release the album with that song included.
