HIII my loves hope you're having a great weekend!!! who's excited for disney & seattle vlogs?!?!? lmk if you have any recs in the comments cuz we're going soon!!! 🥰🥰
omg seattle!! it's my time to shine 🥹 vietnamese cafés - hello em for the banh mi paninis - phin for the pandan waffles - aroom for the black sesame matcha for dinner vibes i also recommend kamonegi, kedai makan, and spinasse but be sure to make reservations for them!
Mei Mei’s coming to Seattle and Disney! Been watching your videos for the past year and excited to hear about what restaurants you visit in Seattle. I’ve lived in Seattle for 10 years and a few of my favorites are Tamaribar, Dough Zone, Charlotte, Jackalope, Mamnoon, Pho Bac, Marination, Ba Bar, Macrina Bakery, and Musang. Safe travels and enjoy your time here! ✈️
I’ve been loving seeing your ninja creami recipes, they look so fun!! I’m from Seattle and here are my top recommendations that I don’t believe you tried last time in Seattle: Secret Savory (Thai) , Dough zone (similar to din Thai fung), the pink door (authentic Italian), wild ginger (upscale Asian), milk drunk (matcha and rainier cherry soft serve) , Anthony’s (seafood) , midnight cookie co, and snowy village (bingsu)
all of the creami recipes look delicous!! I love watching all of the videos and seeing all of the lego pieces you guys collect haha! also I'm so excited for the travel vlogs to come especially because disney vlogs are my fav!!
“Mei Mei is going to Seattle and Disney”😊😊 my husband just bought me a ninja creami as an early birthday gift and I love it just made eggnog ice cream, thank you so much for showing it and I love your creami recipes… you and Bird are such a vibe I love your channels ❤😊
Really love the creami videos! I think though if you think you'll be adding in extra liquid to re-spin, you should definitely fill it up even less than the max fill line. I just don't want you to damage your machine by accident
omg that is so awesome that you're coming to seattle!! I was soooo excited when you said that!! I live right in the area and would love to run into you and bird. :)
: ( I hope u will have an amazing day at Seattle and Disney!! At Disneyland I recommend their cocoa puff coffee at Star Wars land and Blue milk!!!! Hope you will have a good time at Seattle also, love the creami vlogs!!
Hi Meimei, so exciting you get to go back to Seattle! It's one of my favorite cities to visit too. Here's a few spots to check out if you haven't already: - Seattle Fish Guys (fish market with seafood menu items) - U:don Fresh Noodle Station (Seattle version of Marugame) - Semicolon Cafe (Korean cafe in Bellevue) Hope you have a great time!
I always get so excited when you post a vlog! Also so glad you talked about that de-piller I’ve been looking for a good one. Can’t wait to see your Disney and Seattle vlogs! Have a safe trip 😊
meimei’s going to Seattle & Disney! Hi meimei! So excited you’re going to Seattle again! I moved to Seattle from the Bay Area 5 years ago and love it, though I still miss the Bay since I grew up there. Watching your vids makes me feel back at home 😸 I recommend Rain City Burgers, specifically get the Sounders burger if you like cream cheese. It’s so good! My bf goes to U:Don a lot for udon, and I also really like the food there. There are 2 locations, in U District and Cap Hill. Can’t go wrong with either. Both are also just great neighborhoods for yummy food. I hope you have an amazing time in Disneyland!
Yay! Mei mei is going to Seattle and Disney!! I’ve lived in Seattle my whole life but surprisingly some of the places you’ve been to last time you came to visit, I’ve never been to 😅 The places I’m recommending are in Bellevue (right across Lake Washington from Seattle) Boba: CHICHA San Chen - high quality milk tea and boba is so chewy! They give samples of their tea while you order. love their Cassia black tea with mousse and I add boba. AYCE hot pot: Shaburina - they offer AYCE wagyu beef but I personally like the house course which is just as good (comes with beef and pork) They have excellent service, self serve vegetable, noodle and seafood bar including sauce bar and they give you ice cream after your meal! If you get lucky on the day you come, sometimes they serve pineapple soft serve ice cream 😊 Dumplings: Supreme Dumplings. So good! Gets really busy but you can reserve or join their waitlist via Yelp. Downtown Seattle Asean Food Hall at Westlake Mall! Lots of choices to choose from and the decorations are super cool. Thai: Baitong - They’re known for their crispy garlic chicken! Must try! Poke: Seattle fish guys!
Since you’re gonna be in Seattle, you and Bird should take a day trip to Canada (2-3 hour drive north) and go to the Richmond Night Market! So many delicious foods!
Ahhh so excited that ya'll are coming to seattle!! A few recs I have for you guys to try are Bakery Nouveau (get the twice baked almond croissant -- it is HEAVENLY), Ludi's (very popular Filipino breakfast food that just recently re-opened!! Get their ube pancakes :)), Bongos (west indies plate and yuca fries -- i enjoy ordering this togo and enjoying at greenlake), Saigon Deli (the best cheap and delicious banh mis you will find in seattle). Hope you get to try some of these and can't wait to see these vlogs!!
Yayyyy so happy you're coming back to Seattle! I recommend trying the adobada tacos from Tacos Chukis! The pineapple chunks on the tacos are SO GOOD! Also, we just got a new bubble tea and dessert shop in Wallingford called Heuk Hwa Dang (HHD). It's a Korean chain that has croiffles and bingsoo! Patio Thai Cuisine in Capitol Hill has really good Pad See Ew, it's actually spicy! Also 45th Stop and Shop next to Whole Foods in South Lake Union has delicious poke!
You should try making strawberry cheesecake icecream using cottage cheese/strawberries and mixing in graham crackers! I'm sure the creami would do a better job than a blender.
Put scratch posts next to the couch and the double sided sticky tape they sell for protecting your furniture on the corners and it will break the habit of cat scratching. It worked like a charm for us. When the feel the stinky the do not like it then they see the post and use it instead.
For the oreo mix ins I've found it works better if you try to push the oreos all the way to the bottom of the pint. They seem to get mixed in more evenly that way!
When you go to Seattle, you should try KAU KAU Restaurant. It’s located in the Chinatown section of the city, and they have the best BBQ fried rice ever. Me and my family go there a lot just for that particular fried rice. Thank you Have a Nice day😊
For your Seattle trip in July(heard on your vlog), I saw you went to Seattle Fish Guys in the past. They have a vendor that drops off mochi donuts and ice cream. If you go, I recommend the ube Oreo ice cream. Also I recommend Milk & Mochi(opening soon). Likely not available unless you participated in the Kickstarter but if you know anyone that did, try their cream puffs. Onibaba (spin off of Tsukushinbo) and Sushi Nori as other Japanese options. Hello Em for Burgess coffee and sandwiches. Have a fun trip!
Meimei's going to Seattle anf Disney?! Can't wait. Been too long since we've hit PNW Sidenote: NHIE was super fun. Binged it in one sitting. Still think Paxton looked too old for high school the entire series, but small quibble. Are y'all fans of competitive (non dating) reality shows? Netflix's Siren is hella underrated
Hi MeiMei, I love my Ninja Cream-I. We can all be so creative and customize our own fav fkavers. I love vietnamese iced .coffee and asking if you can make one. I look forward to making it. Love watching yourvideox. So informative and fun to watch. 🫶🫶🫶🫶
If you’re willing to go to the other side of the water in Seattle, there’s a really good Thai place called Khao Soi in Bremerton, a really good Italian place in Poulsbo called Sogno di Vino and a Chinese place in Port Orchard called Golden Grill on the Bay that we are obsessed with. Soooo good! If I ran into you somewhere I would be legit so excited lol
In Seattle, some good places to try are: - Young Tea in Wallingford Some places in Chinatown: - Los Costenos in Uwajimaya food court in Chinatown - E-Jae Pak Mor (Thai street food) - Dough Zone (sort of like Din Tai Fung, but cheaper and some people say it tastes better) - Hood Famous, a Filipino-based cafe Aviv Hummus Bar in Capitol Hill. Get the sabich. It's expensive, but really good! LIke, life-changing good!
Have you thought about leading a group tour on a foodie travel destination? Bay area, Seattle, or other favorite places? I think you an Bird (with mom's help) would be fabulous at that!
meimei is going to seattle and disney! OMG I'm going to Seattle for a day trip in July too!!!! I am so excited. I have to rewatch your videos for recommendations haha
the minifigs are so cute! wishing i had a Lego store or more places that sold the packs near me. I only found one at a Best Buy near me (got Robin Hood). I want the Queen of hearts so badly tho bc Alice in Wonderland is my fav! for the creami mixins, it might do better to just crush up the oreos a little bit before adding them so it mixes in better?
Idk when you went to noodles and things but there’s a new spot on 25th that also sells fried chicken cartilage! It’s fried rly nicely! It’s called Prime BBQ
@@moremeimei you definitely should! Some notable places: Arisu Korean BBQ, Earnest Ice Cream, Tacofino, Palkis Indian, Sun Sui Wah for dim sum, the list goes on and on….. Lol It’s such a beautiful and delicious city 😁

The ninja creami would probably work best if you gave the frozen concoction time to thaw beforehand. I’d try that and see how it goes.
